As the vines around his neck tightened Will felt like he could no longer breathe normally, so he started gasping for air.
He closed his eyes, still fighting the break free but nothing was working. He was almost ready to give up when he heard Mikes voice.
It hurt. Everything inside him hurt. He wanted to give up.
Until Mike said 'I love you'.
He couldn't give up. He knew he couldn't give up.
Not long after he continued to fight, the vines fell. Will didn't know how but he didn't have time to think. He glanced at Vecnas angry and confused face before running away.
He heard Mikes voice still, "You're breathing went back to normal, so I hope that's a good sign."
They could hear my breathing? Will thought to himself as he continued to run.
He didn't know exactly where he was running to. I'm his mind, the only logical way to get out from the upside down now was to find a gate. Luckily, his friends had been here and shared with the group where the gates were.
So he ran to the closest one. He heard Vecna behind him, laughing and yelling threats at him.
He hesitated and then heard Mikes voice again, "I don't know what else to do. Please Will. I need you to be okay."
He jumped l through the gate.
