Mike felt homesick since they left Hawkins.

Throughout the three and a halfweeks they had already been gone, Mike had grew more and more anxious with Will being on his own.  Of course everyone noticed this but no one said anything.

Dustin decided to stay in the Byers house just for convince.  He talked with Suzie over the phone a lot just for something to do.

There was a large group of people staying in the Byer's house.

Nancy and Jonathan along with Argyle, Dustin, Mike and El, Hopper, Joyce, Murry had gotten himself a hotel, Steve got himself and Robin a hotel to share, due to Robin never being good on money.

Joyce was trying to stay busy with work, Jonathan was busy trying to hide his drug 'addiction' from his girlfriend, Argyle wasn't busy with anything, he was just always high, Hopper was always planning out things with Doctor Owen and his men, and El was always practicing her powers.  Mike had nothing to do.  He felt useless and anxious.

Will always called at the same time everyday which is what kept Mike from not going insane.

Currently it was 5:00 P.M.  The phone rang and Mike was the one to answer it, like usual.

"Will?"  He asks.  He heard breathing on the other line.

"Hey, Mike."  He says with a shaky breath.

"What's wrong?  Are you okay?"  He asks desperately, causing everyone around him to be more alert.

"Fine.  It's getting worse, you can hear the monsters now, and see some of them."  He says with a shaky voice.  Mike could tell Will had been crying.

"We're coming back."  Mike says, not taking no for an answer.  "Just hang in there, okay?  Listen to the mixtape to be safe."  He instructs Will over the phone.  He knew Will long enough to know that when Will was having a panic attack he didn't know how to think about anything else, which is why Mike was used to telling him things to help him.

"Yeah.  I will."  Will says quietly.

"Alright.  We're on our way.  I don't know how long it will be."  Mike admits, "just hang in there, okay?"  He repeats himself.

"Okay.  Thank you Mike.  Really."  Mike heard Will sigh over the phone.

"See you soon."  Mike replies and Will hung up the phone.  He turns to look at the crowd that was now looking at him.

"We need to go."
