Over And Out

Chapter nine

Mike didn't say anything.  He just pulled Will into a hug while he cried.  Everyone else came into the room.  Letting out sighs of relief.  Joyce took Will away from Mike and hugged him.

"I knew it would work."  El sighs while pulling Will into a hug.  Will couldn't say anything as he was still shaken up.

El let him go, letting Jonathan hug him now. 

Once Jonathan let go Will immediately went back to Mike.  He didn't hug him again, just sat down next to him.

"What happened?"  Lucas asks.  "That was..." 

"Weird."  Dustin finished for him.

Will didn't say anything, only looked to the ground.

"He's shaken up guys.  Don't make him talk if he doesn't want to right now."  Mike says to the group.  Everyone still looked worried but nodded.

"He'll talk to you."  El says quietly, as if Will wasn't in the room.

"So should we get out again?"  Joyce asks.  Everyone hesitates but Jonathan finally spoke up.

"He'll feel better after he talks to Mike."  He says.  "Come on, we'll get out."  He says.

Him and everyone else leave, shutting the door behind them, leaving Mike and Will alone again.

"Are you okay?"  Was the first stupid question Mike asked.

Will nods, not giving words for an answer.

"Do you want to tell me what he did?"  Mike asks.  Will shakes his head almost immediately.

"That's fine."  Mike says with a smile.  "We don't have to talk about it right now if you don't want too."

"Thank you."  He says quietly.  Very quietly.  Mike almost didn't hear him.

"Yeah, of course."  He says quickly.  He was still looking at Will worriedly as he was staring at the ground.

"I heard you."  Will says quietly after a long minute. 

"Oh."  Was All Mike could say, his face turned a light shade of red but he knew Will didn't notice.  He hadn't thought this far ahead while he was begging Will to stay alive.

"I love you too, Mike."  He says, still quiet but he finally looks up at him.
