Over And Out

Chapter thirteen

(This chapter is basically just last chapter except what happened to Will.)

Will found himself in the upside down once more.

Vecna was waiting wait there for him and almost immediately vines wrapped around his legs and arms.

"You've escaped to many times.  How?"  Vecna asks, genuinely curious.

"How am I supposed to know?  I thought you were the one with powers."  Will almost laughs while he tugs on the vines.

"You're friends seem to think that you have power's.  Do you think that's true?"  Vecna asks while the vines around him tightened.

"Of course not."  Will answers truthfully.  "How would I?"

"Why do you keep resisting?  Do you want to live the rest of your life running, hiding.  You really think anyone could ever love you?  You're dad was right."  Vecna continues to talk about Mike and his dad and every other little thing Will hated.

Vecnas plan backfires though.  Will didn't feel sad or upset or hurt about these things.  He felt a rage build inside of him.

The vines let go of him, dropping him to the ground once more.

"Stop that!"  Vecna yells at him and the vines reach out for him again but stopping halfway.

"I'm not doing anything!"  Will shouts back as things around them begin to fall.  Trees, buildings, vines, pretty much everything in sight.

The only thing that was on Wills mind was surviving.  He knew he had people to live for and if he died now so would the rest of them.

"You were supposed to be dead!"  Vecna shouts, using his powers to try and choke Will so he would die.

Instead, he flew backwards and a few vines began crossing over him.  Not enough for him to be killed.  Just hold him in place.

Will looked around wildly, trying to look for El or something or someone that just made that happen.  But no one was there.

So he ran to the nearest gate in attempt to get back and not be in the upside-down any longer.

He hesitated before he jumped through, returning to the cabin with his family and friends.
