Only Chaeryeong

Part 7: Slip of Feelings

Lillian's perspective:
     It's been exactly 3 months since the visit to Jeju that I took with my family and Chaeryeong. Luckily, my family forgot that I had feelings for her, so they didn't bring it up. Chaeryeong treated me to a green-tea field, the one she went to during her vlog that I watched. Sadly, I wasn't a date, but it was still very special for me as I've been wanting to go there since you were 15... and I'm currently 18, and turning 19 in eight months.

     Chaeryeong and I are in the practice room, practicing the choreography for the song, checking eachother's solo part, etc.. You feel as if you both learned and got better at choreography, after perfection, the two of you stopped.

     "Great," I said, clearly worn out from practice. "Now all we need is the music video..."

      I looked at Chaeryeong

    "I'm not standing in the cold rain, I hope you know that." Chaeryeong said, also worn out. She still sounds cute, even when she is tired.

     "Ah, that's fine, I wouldn't expect either of us to. We can just animate it." I mentioned.

    "I don't think we'll have luck with an finding animator who'll spend 50+ hours working on one music animation."

    "I already have."

     Chaeryeong chuckled, then looked at me.

    "Wait, you're serious?" she asked.

    "Yep." I responded.

   "How did you find an animator so quickly?!"

   "Chaeryeong, there are many things you don' know about me..." I started.

    "Wait... do you mean... you animate all of your music videos yourself?" Chaeryeong asked. I nodded and she looked surprised. "Do you usually work on your music life alone?"

   I nodded once more before Yeji, Yuna, Lia, and Ryujin enter the practice room as well.

   "Hey, we're going to a restaurant, wanna come with us?" Asked Yeji. Chaeryeong and I both bolted up as we were both craving for food.

   ITZY and I went to a Korean BBQ place, and when we got the menu, I had issues finding anything I can eat, so I just closed the menu and sighed a quite sigh. Chaeryeong looked up at you without you noticing.

    "You good?" Asked Chaeryeong

   "Eh, couldn't find anything vegetarian-friendly." I responded, letting out another sigh.

    "You're vegetarian?" Asked Yeji

    I forgot that Chaeryeong is the only one who knows me well. Me being vegetarian isn't something most people know, just my family, most of my friends, and my fans because I do monthly cooking streams.

    "If we would've known that, we would've gone somewhere else. I'm so sorry." Yuna commented. I could tell she actually was sorry.

    I tapped my fingers on the table in an odd tune, another thing only my fans understand that means 'can I be excused for a second?'. Chaeryeong looked up from her menu for a second, nodded her head, and then looked back down. I left to go to the restroom and went into one of the stalls even though I did not need to go. I sat there on my phone, looking at what to order for when I return to my dorm and animate for the rest of the day.

    When I was finished, I returned to the table where ITZY and I were sitting at, and since acting flirty always cheers me up, I decided to flirt with the girls a little bit. Jokingly of course, not for real. I sat at my seat, made a really cute face, or at least tried to, I couldn't see what I looked like, but I tried my best to seem flirty to cheer myself up, and hopefully place some smiles on my friends' faces, and maybe even some laughter.
