Part 45: Chaeryeong gets sick

Chaeryeong's perspective:

Today, me and the rest of ITZY were working on the choreography for the songs in our upcoming album. We've been working very hard, and my girlfriend, Lillian, had made every single move. At the same time as we're getting our new album, JYP and Lillian had agree to release two albums per year, one of them two, and one of Lillian making her songs on her own, and she's getting a new album very soon. I also don't know why, but Lillian's choreography has also been hitting harder than before. Was it because of something Lillian' going through?

As we had finished one of the songs, we were all exhausted and sweating, but me the most though. I have a headache and a fever, but didn't tell anyone because I didn't want anyone to worry. Not even Lillian.

"Well... that was fun." Yeji said, cleaning the sweat off of her face.

"Yeah! I'm really happy Lillian got to make the choreography for our songs, it's really interesting!" Lia exclaimed before turning to me. "What do you think of that, Chae?"

"Hm? Oh! I think it's nice. Definitely something new for us, and hope that both Lillian and us go further because of it!" I replied.

"Me as well!" Ryujin began. "Lillian's definitely very talented. It's hard to think she only had 8% of her current listeners before she moved here."

My stomach began to turn, and I was clearly in pain, but tried to hide it. It didn't work.

"Chae, you good?" Yuna asked, walking towards me.

"Yeah. I just err... I just ate before coming here to practice, and now my stomach hurts, hehe." I lied. Yuna placed the back of her hand on my forehead before pulling it away.

"Chaeryeong! You clearly have a fever, why didn't you tell us or Lillian?" Yuna asked. She was clearly upset that I didn't tell anyone and lied to them.

"I didn't want anyone to worry about me..." I answered truthfully. "Everyone's working on things, and I feel like I'd be in the way if I didn't work as well."

Lia had texted Lillian and told her to pick me up without me noticing.

"Chaeryeong, we understand, but you have to take it easy on yourself, ok?" Yeji said, sitting next to me and wiping away my sweat. "Besides, you know how Lillian is, she cares about you. We all do, and we want you to be in the healthiest and happiest condition you can be in, ok?"

I nodded. After the girls tried to help me out for a few minutes, Lillian rushed through the doors with bags, rags, and her purse. She was sprinting towards me faster than I've ever seen her sprint before, and it was entertaining to watch her hair that was picked up into a ponytail sway from side to side. As Lillian reached me, she had put her hand on my forehead, dampened a rag, and placed it on my forehead. It had actually helped a little bit.

"Lil aein, I'm fine, really." I said, not wanting worry her pure soul. She just gave me a serious and concerned look.

"Chaeryeong, you're clearly sick, and as your girlfriend, it's my job to make sure you get better, ok? Now come on, let's get you to bed." Lillian replied, waving bye at the other ITZY members. She had laid me onto bed, and placed the damp rag on my forehead once more.
