It has been roughly three years since ITZY and Lillian has taken over JYP Entertainment, renaming it to Queendom Entertainment. Chaehan has recently started school, Lillian and Chaeryeong doing better than ever. Lia has been in a relationship for a few years now, Yuna has allowed pets into the company's dorms, as well as even opened up a cat café in the company building, being ever so loving of animals. Yeji has not only been teaching leadership, but also have been helping helping babysit some of the children of idols under their agency. And finally, Ryujin. She's been assisting idols with their relationships, and finding a lot of joy in it, feeling like she's been doing more.
Lillian's perspective:
It's been exactly 5 hours since Hanna had been at school, and Chaeryeong and I are already panicking. Chaeryeong has been active non-stop, even though it's her break day today, with Yeji and Yuna taking care of things. To be honest though, I can't really blame her, I'm worried too.
"Chaeryeong-unnie~. You can relax, you know. You don't have to be keeping yourself busy with things that don't need to be done." I commented, hoping to get Chaeryeong to loosen up a little. But of course, she just gave me a side-eye. "If you keep worrying, you're gonna turn your head white before you're even 50."
"Why shouldn't I worry?! Our baby is away, and at school! We've never really been away from them without having someone we know and trust watching them. What if she's hurt!" Chaeryeong replied, with her voice full of worry.
"I'm not saying you shouldn't worry, I'm just saying you need to relax a bit. I'm sure Hann's fine. You know her, she's a tough girl. Besides, we made sure to pick out an amazing pre-school for her. Remember?" I returned, now opening a box of bungeoppang, or fish buns.
I hear Chaeryeong sigh, and I put the box down and rest my head on her shoulder. "I'm serious. I know we're her mothers, and we should be worried for her. I am too. But we need to keep calm, okay? Stressing out too much isn't good for you." I said with concern.
"Says the workaholic." Chaeryeong scoffed.
"Hey! I gave that up when I was pregnant with Hanna!"
"Only because I stopped you from working! And even then you worked half the time!"
"Chae... I get that I was a workaholic, but I gave that up for Hanna, end I've honestly been less stressful. Really. I get you're worried for our daughter, I really do. But you're over stressing. If something was wrong, they'd call us." I spoke calmly, even though I was a bit offended by that remark.
It was true, I worked half the time I was pregnant with Chaehan, but even then, I at least gave up dancing, my favorite hobby, to make sure Chaehan was safe in my womb. Chaeryeong sighed and closed her eyes, and I could tell this wasn't working, so I had to try a different approach.
"Remember when we first met? At my school, where your group performed, and you were fangirling over me for hours? Do you remember that?" I asked softly. Chaeryeong nodded softly. "Do you remember when we went to Jeju island, and I was soooooo oblivious, that I didn't even notice your crystal clear flirting?"
Chaeryeong smirked with a chuckle as I mentioned that. My plan was already working. "That was actually pretty funny..." Chaeryeong said, with less stress in her voice.
"And remember when we had our very first anniversary? How good it felt for us to have been going on a year? Remember that?" I remarked, wanting to list some of the best time of our lives. Chaeryeong's smirk grew larger. "Every single one of our best moments, we were always stressed, but we got through it! Wanna know why? Because we had eachother, and we still do."
Chaeryeong smiled had caressed my head, having been a lot more relaxed now and calm. "You're right, maybe... maybe I should just try to relax a bit." Chaeryeong spoke calmly for the first time all day. "I'm sorry for being so worked up... and fore the side-eyes... and for yelling at you earlier..."
I giggle at her apology, despite not having of been hurt in the first place since I knew she was just being moody and worried.
"It's all good." I shrugged. "Love you~"
"Love you too, babe." Chaeryeong replied.
