Only Chaeryeong

Part 52: Concert

Lillian's perspective:

Today's May 8th, 2029, making me three months pregnant, and only knowing for the past two months. So far, only Chaeryeong and I knew, we haven't told family or close friends. My stomach wasn't that big yet, and I was wearing baggy clothes. The most people have gotten onto to me was for the growth in my breast size, but I had just used the excuse of my estrogen pills affecting it, as I had used to periodically took them periodically months back whenever I my hormones were acting strange than normal.

Today was the day of a concert, probably the last one I'd take before people would start finding out about me being pregnant. Chaeryeong was driving, and had parked outside of the area I was performing at.

"Ok, so no choreography, take it easy on the movement and the singing, and try not to show any signs, okay?" Chaeryeong reminded me. This was our fifth time going over this, as we still didn't want it to be public. I had done a thumbs up before we entered the area.

Chaeryeong had helped me get dressed, which was embarrassing because I still wasn't used to it, and had even picked out all of the clothing I was going to wear. Chaeryeong then had done my makeup as I was waiting for my nails to drive, as I had painted them a mixture of pink and purple, causing a gradient affect.

"Your nails look really nice!" Chaeryeong complimented, noticing my nails. "You did them really well!"

"Thank you!" I replied. I haven't painted my nails in a while, so I was proud of it. "Do you think you can pick up my hair, please?"

"Mhm!" Chaeryeong hummed, finishing my makeup and tying my hair into a bun.

"Sorry if all of this makes you feel like I'm relying on you or anything." I apologized. Chaeryeong gave me a kiss on my cheek and smiled.

"Nah, it's fine! None of us were expecting it."

As it was a minute before I had to go on stage, I had turned around to look at my glorious girlfriend. "Where will you be while I'm on stage?" I asked worriedly.

"I'll be on stage, in the corner where I won't be seen, ok?" Chaeryeong answered. I nodded, and kissed her before going on stage, with Chaeryeong going to a corner without all of the Bloomings noticing her. I had sighed before speaking, as I had planned and explained that I was wanting to chat with my fans a little bit before performing.

"Hey everyone!" I spoke into my microphone while waving at everyone. Everyone began to yell with excitement, which had caused me to smile. "I'm wanting to discuss a few things before I begin. I understand that a lot of people like me dancing and doing the choreography while I sing, but I sadly won't be able to do that today."

There was slight murmurs, which had told me that there was panic in the crowd. I could also see the girls of ITZY at the front, aside from Chaeryeong since she was sitting in a dark corner, looking at eachother, as they didn't know what was going on.

"I know I usually sing and dance when I perform, but due to some... changes... I will not be doing that today." I tried explaining without revealing the news. "I am okay and fine, I am not hurt. I just haven't been in the mood to dance lately. I'll do a tiny bit of movement every once in a while, but not too much. I'm also a bit drained, don' have much energy at the moment, and did not get good sleep."

With that, I had began to sing, starting from the first of my songs, and making my way to the newer ones slowly. Funny thing is, I had actually scheduled the release of my new album for today, in the middle of the concert, so I can sing some new songs for my fans. As I was moving a little bit, my ankle had slipped, and rolled my ankle. Normally, it would hurt a lot to other people, but I was used to it as it happened quite often, and it didn't affect me much since my bones in my legs were messed up due to my feet being twisted all the time.
