Lillian's perspective:
I woke up, and didn't see Chaeryeong by my side. Normally, I'd panic, but she said that she was going to be with her family for that day, so I was calm. But when I got out of my bed, I smelled something cooking, so I went to go check it out. I entered my kitchen and saw her. Chaeryeong decided to use the key that I gave her. She didn't see me, so I had decided to try to sneak up on her to surprise her.

"I can hear you walking you know. I don't need to see you to know you're there." Chaeryeong said with a bright smile on her face. "I've memorized the sound from when you walk."

"Worth a shot." I said, blushing from embarrassment. I should've known.

Chaeryeong looks adorable on a daily basis, but she was looking even more adorable now. She had her hair tied to a tight bun, and was wearing a golden crop top along with the pink bracelet I made her. At least I think it was pink anyway. She has also worn a cute dark-blue skirt, reminding me of Tashi's color scheme for their outfits.

"I didn't know you took on my twin's color scheme." I teased. Chaeryeong laughed as she continued to carefully cook whatever she was cooking. "You look very adorable tho, more than other days."

Chaeryeong was really laughing and smiling now. So far, my day's been pretty good.

"Is that pink I see on your cheeks? Didn't expect you to blush this early in the morning." I commented, teasing her some more, but in a kind and playful way. She was really blushing now. "So, how was your visit with your family?"

"It was fun. We played lots of games! I missed you a lot though." Chaeryeong replied. I smiled in response to hearing that. If she's happy, I'm happy.

Chaeryeong turned around and kissed me unexpectedly. I liked it though. Then she handed me a plate of tamagoyaki, my favorite form of eggs to eat.

"Happy birthday!" Chaeryeong announced. Dang, even I forgot it was my own birthday. Who knew that my own girlfriend would remember it while I forgot it? Must've been from being sleep-deprived.

"Thank you!" I said, taking a little bow.

Chaeryeong watched as I ate and was constantly checking the time. I could tell that she had planned out my entire day for me. I had finished my plate, and had taken another look at my adorable girlfriend when I noticed that the crop top I gifted her was a little short on her.

"Hey Chae?" I began. She looked into my eyes. "Your um... the crop top is a bit revealing..." I commented

"I know. I don't care anymore, as long as we aren't going out in public." Chaeryeong said. "Kinda like the Bittersweet outfit. You change it a little bit when you're leaving your house."

   "Ok, that's different though."

"Is it? I'd say that that outfit is... decently more revealing than all your other ones..."

I could tell Chaeryeong was enjoying this. Suddenly, Someone knocked on the door, Chaeryeong answered it, and a massive amount of people came rushed into my room.

"Happy birthday!" They all said at once. I can tell this was Chaeryeong's planning, as they knocked on the door the second it turned 12:00.

Normally, I would be a lot more shy and uncomfortable being around such a large group of people, but I knew everyone. Chaeyeon, Chaemin, Chaeryeong's parents, Yeji, Ryujin, Lia, Yuna, even my friends from the states were here! We spent hours playing games such as Cards Against Humanity, Twister, you even did Karaoke with the group! At the last round of Karaoke, Yeji and I had a competition to see which one of us has the best-loudest singing voice... we ended in a tie, which was enough for me.

For some reason, they also spent their time learning a customized version of the choreography for Dalla Dalla. Everything was timed perfectly.

"Who's idea was this!" I asked with a smile on my face. Everyone pointed to Chaeryeong.

"The idea was mine..." Chaeryeong admitted, blushing shyly.

I went up and Chaeryeong and kissed her on the lips.

"Thank you, this has been the most eventful birthday I've ever had!" I whispered in her ear. "I love you!"

Little did I know, the party still wasn't over. After the music ended, slow-dancing music came on, and I could tell that this was my bestie's planning as they knew that I used to go to almost every school dance I could go to, only missing a total of two out of 10, so that was pretty good. As I was dancing with Chaeryeong, I noticed that a few of my songs came on, so I'd do the choreography for them. But once my first song, Glorious, came on, I started having flashbacks about my past experiences of things that had happened during the time I was writing the song.

I had felt tears in my eyes building up, so I told Chaeryeong that I was sorry before I had snook out of the dance, and into my room, alone. I started crying into my golden pillow, the same one I had always cried into. Chaeryeong didn't know what was happening and was worried about me, so she sat on the bed, right next to me.

"What's wrong my dear? It's your birthday, you should be happy." Chaeryeong said worriedly.

"When the song, Glorious came on, I had flashbacks of everything that had happened to me when I was writing the songs. I was deeply in love with this one boy it the past, him and I actually danced as well. He's the reason why I wrote the song song, Glorious, and he-he said he would always be there for me. But he had broke up with me half a month from our half-year mark..." I explained while in tears. "I just- those memories are just painful for me to remember."

As I erupted in tears, I could feel Chaeryeong wrapping her arms around me. I cried as I had leaned against her shoulder. I remember things going blank after that.
