Chapter 29 (Day 3)

'Yah~~'

'HAHAHAHAHHA wae?'

'Yoon Minji!'

'Wae...'

Minji tried giving Jeonghan the puppy eyes. It worked sometimes but whether it worked now, she wasn't sure.

'Only one each!'

'Nooo! I want one too!'

'You have me!'

Minji looked at all the soft toys in her hand and looked back at Jeonghan. She loved soft toys. It wasn't just about hugging them but also wanting to look at their cute faces. Who needed to have soft toys to hug if they had Jeonghan?

Minji pouted and walked away, holding only 2 soft toys for Seunghan and Youngji.

Jeonghan started feeling bad for stopping Minji from being happy so he secretly added one more to the cart.

Throughout the car ride home, Minji stayed silent. Jeonghan held the hand that was on her thigh, soothing his thumb over.

'Are you still mad?'

'No...I'm not~ Don't worry'

Minji squeezed his hand and pecked his cheeks.

They got home and Minji was still silent.

'I'll go prepare dinner'

Minji left the room and Jeonghan immediately placed the soft toy on their bed.

'Jagiya~'

Jeonghan called out while he waltzed into the kitchen. He wrapped an arm around her waist and stood beside her, his eyes gazing at her face.

'Hmm?'

'Go take a shower. I'll prepare dinner'

Minji looked at him skeptical. Jeonghan and cooking dinner? Hah.

Jeonghan immediately changed his words.

'I'll cut and prepare the things for dinner then you can cook after you shower'

Minji nodded to that idea and pecked his lips before rushing to shower.

'YOON JEONGHAN!'

Jeonghan was confused and turned around, only to be tackled by Minji into a hug.

'Thank you thank you thank you'

'What happened?'

'You bought the soft toy!'

'Why are you happier to get the soft toy than you have ever been with me...'

'I'll never be happier without you you know that~ It's an angel so when you go on business trips or when you are not at home, I can still have this'

Minji hugged the angel soft toy tightly to her chest, not willing to let go. Jeonghan stared at her, a smile forming. He patted her head.

Her words melted his heart. He still could not understand how he was willing to hurt her at the beginning.

'Take a shower babe. Trust me for now'

Minji side eyed him but still believed him and went to shower.

Jeonghan took the knife and sliced the cabbage.

Oh shit.

He accidentally cut his finger and there was blood sipping. It wasn't serious but he knew Minji would ban him from the kitchen if she learnt what happened.

Quickly, he ran to run his finger under cold water and pressed a tissue to stop the blood. He could not afford to put a plaster as it would stand out to Minji.
