'Oppa! Wonwoo oppa! We bought breakfast-'
Minji stopped mid sentence when she saw them sleeping together on the couch.
Wonwoo woke up at the sound, slowly prying his eyes open.
'Dongsaengie?'
'Good morning Wonwoo oppa. Did I wake you up? You can continue to sleep if you want'
Wonwoo shook his head and climbed out of the couch, untangling himself from Mingyu's hold.
'You two fought?'
'Nothing serious'
Wonwoo didn't want Minji to find out Mingyu slapped her son so he tried to change the conversation. Jeonghan soon appeared at the doorway and brought more food with him.
'Minji imo! Jeonghan samchon!'
Minseok ran into the kitchen and hugged Minji.
'Good morning sweetheart, how was your sleep?'
Minseok quickly told the story of his little dream, where there was a fight between the prince and the dragon and he was there to save the day.
'Dongsaengie, you're here'
Mingyu pulled Minji towards his chest and buried his face into the top of her head, hugging her close.
They didn't say anything. Minji knew Mingyu just needed someone's comfort and he couldn't go to Wonwoo since they were still fighting.
Wonwoo's heart broke seeing Mingyu so upset so he signaled to Minji to let him take over.
He walked up to behind Mingyu, wrapped his arms around his waist and spun him around to properly hug him. Mingyu shifted his head to fit into Wonwoo's neck.
'Hyung...'
'Shh it's ok, I'm not mad anymore'
Wonwoo soothed Mingyu's back, slowly claming him down like a child.
After controlling his tears, he went to find Seunghan who was playing in the porch.
'Seungie, come here'
Seunghan ran over and Mingyu immediately pulled him into a hug, apologising for his impulsive action the day before. He carefully thumbed Seunghan's cheek, seeing the cheek still slightly red but blended in with his natural cheek blush.
*Ding dong*
Jeonghan opened the door and was surprised to see Mingyu and Minji's parents as well as his own standing there.
'Eomma, appa'
After they all settled down, the parents took out a file and placed it on the table.
'It has been 14 years since you two had married and 7 since you two married. Minji and Jeonghan's marriage was arranged and we would like to tell you the reason why'
Turns out, Seungcheol's parents were aware of their son's crush on Minji but since they didn't want him to marry within their social circle, the only way was to stop his crush by having Minji be married. Choi Ventures was a hugh shareholder of Yoon Empire so Mr Choi had requested for Jeonghan to marry Minji in exchange for their investment.
'In front of you are two different files. One is the file with documents to file for your divorce and the other is filled with your wedding registration documents'
Minji and Jeonghan looked at each other. They could choose to divorce or continue their marriage that was built on nothing but a contract deal.
'Angel, I know we didn't have a two sided love at the very start and I wasn't the best husband you expected but... please don't leave me'
Jeonghan whispered the last few words. If Minji signed the divorce papers he would fall apart but he would respect her decision as well.
Minji picked up the pen and signed her name while Jeonghan held his breath. This really was the end.
Mingyu passed the file over to Jeonghan for him to sign next to Minji's signature. Tears trickled down Jeonghan's face.
'Thank you Hannie, the past 14 years have been great with you. Our ups and downs, our journey of parenthood with our twins, going through all kinds of emotional roller coaster... I love you Hannie, and I'll never stop'
Minji cupped his cheeks and connected their lips, gently thumbing his cheeks to dry the tears.
'Baby, why are you crying?'
'I thought you were going to divorce me... I-'
'Shhh didn't cry anymore'
Minji caressed Jeonghan's back, soothing him and calming him down. Mrs Yoon and Mrs Kim had left after Minji ensured them it was ok.
