Chapter 20

'Love?'

Jeonghan peeked his head into the master bedroom.

Minji looked up from the book she was reading.

'Yeah? What's wrong?'

'Can I sleep here tonight?'

'Why not?'

Minji patted the space beside her for Jeonghan to climb in.

'I thought you were still mad at me'

It has been days since they came back from Mingyu's house but Minji had chased Jeonghan out of their room every night as punishment. No matter how much Jeonghan tried to act cute, sulk or pout, Minji just pecked his lips but didn't allow him back in the room.

Jeonghan climbed into bed and went under the covers with Minji. One hand wrapped around her waist and the other supporting his head so he could face her sideways. Minji was fully concentrated on her book that she didn't pay any attention to him.

'Eung~'

Jeonghan whined but Minji has no reaction, not even bothering to look at him.

'Jagi~'

Minji slowly peered up from her book.

'Yeah?'

She asked while turning her head to face Jeonghan, her eyes still partially glued onto the book.

'Yeah?'

Minji asked again when Jeonghan didn't say anything. She turned to look at him finally.

'Why are you pouting?'

She pecked his lip and looked back at him.

'Not-thing...'

Jeonghan felt bad for disrupting her reading. He sighed silently but was still heard by Minji.

She closed her book and placed it on the bedside table.

'What's wrong baby?'

'Do you think...'

Jeonghan was hesitant to ask her. It wasn't like him to feel shy but why did it seem so hard to bring the topic up?

Minji was concerned. Jeonghan was never hesitant to ask her anything. He only acted cute if he knew she might not agree but why was he so hesitant now?

'Calm down Hannie'

Minji cupped his cheeks, slowly caressing it.

'Do you think we can make Mingyu become an uncle?'

Jeonghan asked slowly, not even sure why he was afraid to bring up the topic.

'I... don't mind... but what if...'

Minji's voice trailed off. She wasn't sure if she should voice her insecurities to Jeonghan.

'Hey angel, come here'

Jeonghan readjusted their positions with him leaning against the headboard and letting Minji sit between his legs in front of him. He pulled Minji to his chest and they cuddled while discussing more.

'We both have no experience in being parents but there is always a first time right? I don't mind trying to be a first time parent if it is with you. We can get both our parents to help?'

Minji knows how much Jeonghan loves children. She wanted to give Jeonghan that happiness.

'Ok'

Minji whispered, convincing herself that a part of Jeonghan's happiness that came from having their own children was worth a shot.

'What?'

'Ok. We shall make Mingyu oppa an uncle'

'Really?!'

Jeonghan's eyes lit up.

'Ye-yeah'

Jeonghan's expression immediately turned to worry.

'We don't have to make him become an uncle don't if you are uncomfortable ok?'

'You love kids Hannie. Mingyu oppa also loves kids'

'You happiness is more important you know? If we can't have kids, Mingyu will get the message to find his own life partner and start breeding. I can love his kids too!'

'Breeding?! My brother isn't an animal you know?! And... I don't want you to love other people's kids more than our own'

'Angel, look at me. We don't have to rush into having kids. When the time is right, we can always try and you know I will always love you more than our future kids and they will receive more love than anyone else'

'Thank you Jagi~'

Minji hugged him with her ear on his chest. Jeonghan leaned down and placed a kiss on her head.

'Anyways, you are always so beautifully loud in bed. Imagine how hard it would be for you to keep it down'

'Yah!!! Yoon Jeonghan!'

Minji's face flushed red.

'When we have kids we can't have sex whenever and wherever in the house. Unless... we send them away everyday'

'Yah!!! I'm loud because of you!! You always go so hard and fast! And send them away EVERYDAY?! Yoon Jeonghan! I'm not your sex toy!'

Minji glared at him, partially hurt at the thought that Jeonghan only loved her for the sex.

Jeonghan panicked. That wasn't what he meant.

'Angel, you know that's not what I meant... I love you for you and not because of sex. You know that~ Sex with you is just a bonus and you always request me to go faster and harder!

How was her husband still so bold?

'I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings angel. I didn't mean it that way. I love you so much'

Minji pecked his chest and held his hand.

'I'm sorry for misinterpreting your words. Too much time was spent away from you for us to have that magical connection'

'And whose fault was that?'

'Yours'

'Hehe yeah... Please forgive me?'

'I did. I love you too much to stay mad at you'

'Of course! And I love you too! Go sleep my angel. Goodnight'

'Goodnight'

Minji snuggled closer to Jeonghan as he wrapped them under the blanket. What a beautiful night to be in each other's arms again.
