Chapter 6

Jeonghan kept his eyes closed and felt around the bed but could not find any source of warmth. Groaning, he used his energy to climb out of bed and put on his fluffy slippers before heading down to the kitchen.

'You left...' He pouted as he back hugged Minji and rested his chin on her shoulder.

'Good morning Hannie! I wanted to make breakfast before you woke up'

'You failed. I'm awake and breakfast isn't ready!'

'That's why I said WANTED. You ruined my plan! Go brush your teeth, wash up and reflect'

'Yeobo...' Jeonghan poured again, not letting go of Minji.

'Jeonghan 🤨'

'Please~'

Minji playfully rolled her eyes before pecking Jeonghan's lips.

'Go'

'Saranghae!'

Minji laughed as she watched Jeonghan running away like a little child towards the bathroom.

'When you are done, come down to eat!'

'Can't we have breakfast in bed?'

'That is only if YOU cook breakfast!'

'BULLY!'

Minji rolled her eyes.

(Breakfast time!!)

'Jagi~'

'Hmm?' Minji was suspicious of what Jeonghan would say next. Whenever Jeonghan acted cute or called her cutely, it was always because he wanted something.

'Do you remember what day it is?'

'Huh?? Our anniversary isn't till next year, it isn't a public holiday or any festive season. Uhh... October 4? There isn't any event today right?'

'Ye-yeah... you're right... It's a normal day'

Jeonghan immediately went silent, his eyes casted straight at his food. He suddenly lost his appetite and was just poking around the food even though it tasted amazing a few seconds ago.

'I'm done with breakfast. Is it not nice?'

'No no. It's not that. I... just don't feel like eating 😕'

'Hannie?' Minji walked to beside Jeonghan and placed her plate back on the table.

Jeonghan looked up, only to have his lips met with hers.

'Happy birthday my love' Minji smiled when their lips parted.

'You remembered?'

'Of course. I was just messing with you. You know I won't forget your birthday'

'Thank you' Jeonghan pulled Minji onto his lap and hugged her real tight.

'You didn't know how sad I was when I thought you actually forgot' Jeonghan sulked and complained.

'I'm sorry. Don't be mad please~'

'You know I won't be mad at you~ but...'

'But? Why is there a but?'

'You should make it up to me as an apology'

'Make it up to you? How?'

'That is for you to think and decide. In the mean time, I'll go get ready for work'

'Hannie...'

'I love you too!'

Jeonghan ran to his room to change to his office clothes.

Minji straightened his shirt and adjusted his tie before patting his chest, signalling he was good to leave.

'Don't work too hard on your birthday ok? Do you want me to bring lunch over later? Or are you going to celebrate with your colleagues? We can just gave our own mini celebration tonight during dinner, if you like'

'I'll see you for dinner ok? Seungcheol and all decided to celebrate during lunch. I'm sorry~ You know how much I would love to have lunch with you today'

'It's ok Hannie~ We can have lunch together anyday. It's not often you get to meet all of them together'

'You sure it's ok? I don't want you to be sad'

'Yes! I'm fine! Now go to work before you are late!'

'But I'm the CEO! I won't get fired'

'Yes but it means no kisses for 2 days'

'OK BYE! LOVE YOU!' Jeonghan shouted as he ran to his car and drove off.

Minji cleared the breakfast table and contemplated on what to do to 'make it up' to Jeonghan.

(Lunch with Jeonghan)

Everyone was present except Mingyu. Mingyu was overseas settling a partnership an overseas company wanted to have with Kim Holdings.

They were gathered at Yoon Empire building. Food, drinks, snacks, cake and everything required for a party were all prepared.

There were no employees. Only Jeonghan and his 11 brothers.

'Jeonghan hyung! How's your marriage going?'

'Hi Dino! It's great! Minji finally slept in the same room as me!'

'Same bed?'

'Yes Hoshi, same bed'

'Must have taken a lot of agyeo and convincing to get Minji to share room with you' DK started joking.

'YAH! We are husband and wife! We should have shared room since the beginning'

'Husband and wife in name. Jeonghan hyung, did you fall in love with her?'

Jeonghan smirked.

'Of course not. This is only the start of the game'

Jeonghan raised his glass.

'To Jun losing the bet!'

'TO JUN LOSING THE BET!' Everyone cheered backed as they rose their glass, except for Jun.

'Get ready to lose Jun' Jeonghan stuck his tongue out at Jun.
