A/N: Part 2 of the Bound series

Maybe it was his nerves, or maybe it was the feeling of dread that he and his team were going in balls to the wall. Anything could go wrong, and it would be his fault if it did.

Sighing, he rubbed his face. Even after plotting and planning with his team, he was still nervous. Looking at the clock, he noticed it was going on 11. Getting up, he walked to your room, now was as good as any other to see just what this self-sacrificing stand could do.

"Hey, you need to wake up,"

He watched you swat at his hand, grumbling about it being too early for worship.

He shook you a bit harder this time and waited for you to rub the sleep out of your eyes. Dressed in a long nightgown that was sliding off your shoulder, you yawned.

"Hm? What time...is it?"

"Your stand"

That woke you up, and you kicked your legs over the bed.

"Oh...that"

"I'll allow you to pick,"

Well, it was more thoughtful than most kidnappers you'd been with.

"Um, May we do it in your room?" If he was going to make you uncomfortable, then he could handle you being in his private space!

"You know where my office is, come when you're ready." he left after that, with no hat and just some pants. You were left with a nervous twinge in your gut.

'I should go brush my teeth '

Getting up, you rubbed your face with warm water and brushed your teeth. You hoped he'd keep his promise, such a large man he was bound to be...

"Stop that. There's no point in being scared! You can do this. You're a brave woman! You have nothing to fear!" But you were still nervous.

But there was no sense in wallowing in fear. You could handle this!

Leaving your room, you waited outside his office door. You made a move to knock, but it was already slightly ajar. Taking the invitation, you closed the door behind you and moved to the other door, the one in the back.

"Ah...Capo?" You hoped he'd fallen asleep or better yet, you could lull him to sleep like the others.  However, you knew that this man in particular wouldn't let anything slide.

"Come here, close the door,"

Any plans of trying to put him to sleep immediately vanished. You didn't even know what his stand was, and the mere possibility filled you with dread. Closing the door, you stood with your back to it. There was a click, and the lamp came to life.

He was beautiful now that you got a nice look at him. Horrible burns, scars, stabs, and old stitches covered his body. It was odd seeing him without his hat, too.

"Sit."

You sat a foot away from him on his queen-sized bed.

"I don't want to hurt you but this needs to be done, I need to make sure that if anyone somehow gets their hands on you I won't have to deal with some super hyped-up enemy"

You nodded. It made sense to know everything about your ally's ability.

"I understand."

"We can go slow, but I need you to work with me."

It still surprised you how gentle he was. Willing to go slow and steadily for your comfort, it was nice having someone consider your feelings for once. He didn't treat you like a rare artifact. He treated you like a rare, stray dog. A tight leash but willing to loosen. It wasn't a relationship per se between two people, more like a pet and owner.
