I wake up and I feel like every bone in my body had been broken, my ribs I'm pretty sure were broken, but I had a HUGE headache, I try to get up and instantly fall to the ground, "damn it." I curse under my breath, Kie walks in and helps me up, "y/n, you ok?" She asks, "I'm fine, I need to see JJ." I say, "y/n, your in no position to be walking, you need to rest." She says, "I want to see him." I say getting up and using the walls as support as I leave the guest bedroom. I go outside and get in the Twinkie, I have laser focus on, so I don't get in a car crash, and so I don't pass out or anything. I drive to to the hospital and the nurse asks me who I'm there for. "JJ Maybank" I answer back, "Ok, follow me right this way, he'll be on the left." She says, I nod, "are you his sister?" She asks, "No, I'm his girlfriend/best friend." I say, "aw, how sweet." She says as we enter the room, she exits and leaves me alone with JJ. After 3 seconds I can't stand it and I start crying seeing him like this, he wasn't awake. He was stuck sleeping, unconscious, I didn't know if he could hear me. "J, I don't know if you can hear me but please wake up, I beat the shit out of your dad for doing this to you, you have to wake up, when you wake up I'm going to buy you a brand new surf board with my savings from my job, it will be the nicest surf board you'll ever see, and we'll brag about who's better at surfing for hours, but you have to wake up." I say, laugh crying. I kiss him on the forehead, "I..I love you JJ, I didn't want to admit it before but.. I love you." I say, and kiss him on the cheek before holding his hand and falling asleep from exhaustion.
