This is a JJ Maybank X Reader story, maybe a smut if you guys want but ya, so I was inspired to rite this story and because I LOVE Outer Banks, and JJ is so hot I decided to write this...
Ok so i'm y/n y/l/n, and i'm a pouge and i'm pretty proud of it, me and my crew the pouges have a mission this summer, have a good time all the time.
"Y/n come on we're going to be late for our last day of school." I hear John B call from downstairs, I sneak past my sleeping dad, so he doesn't know i'm leaving, so I have a secret only my best friend JJ knows, my dad is an abusive, drunk, drug addict, and my dad and his dad are best friends, my mom left me when I was 5, but enough of the sad ass bullshit, i'm about to finish this stupid school year, and be on summer break, and hanging out with the pouges. Ok but first let's introduce you to the pougues.

This is JJ, my best friend since Kindergarten, I met him when kooks were picking on me for loving to surf and being a pouge, he's about as local as they come, latest in a long line of fishing, drinking, smuggling, vendetta holding salt lifers who made their living off the water, best surfer I know just don't tell him I said that, and probably future tax cheat.

That's Kiara, or as we call her Kie, and the only other girl in the group besides me, best friend since the 4th grade. So she's a rich kid actually, foot in both worlds, and when she's not saving turtles or listening to Marley or getting a dolphin tattoo she hangs out with us. I don't know why she hangs out with us, I mean her parents own the Wreck, like the most famous resteraunt in the Outer Banks.

And this is Pope, the brains of the operation, finalists for the lucas t vanderhorst merit scholarship, and the smartest person I know a little bit of a weirdo though. Best friends since 4th grade and the kinda guy that knows the answer to any question just by looking at your eyes, but he was a pouge, just like the rest of us.

And last but not least, John B, my bestfriend since the 3rd grade, when JJ introduced us he added me to the pouges group, and we've been friends ever since, his dad died (not actually but ima pretend he has no parents and nobody died, and there was no gold or anything) and his mom left him when he was 3, the last he heard from her she was in Colllorado I think, so that's my crew.
