I stormed outside my room, carrying a knife and a gun after shooing away girl number three that tried to seduce me tonight. I can hear girls and music when I entered Atlas's part of the house. Wala akong pakialam kung anong kababalaghan ang ginagawa nila.

Padabog kong binuksan ang pinto ng kanyang kwarto. Atlas only leaned on the headboard, one arm behind his head, while two strippers danced in front of him. Hindi tumigil ang mga babae. They glanced my way and licked their lips as if inviting me.

I shot them a look. "Out."

Umayos ng upo si Atlas at nakataas ang kilay. "I already sent girls, Kairos. No need to cockblock me."

"Pick up your clothes and get the fuck out," utos ko sa mga babae na may halong banta habang tinataliman ang tingin sa kapatid.

Halos matapilok ang dalawang babae sa pagmamadali. Hindi pa sila nakakalabas ng pinto ay tinutukan ko na ng baril si Atlas. I have little regard of whether or not they could stomach brutality.

"You choose, Atlas. Shoot your head or cut your dick?" I put my other hand on the holster that held the knife.

Suminghap ang dalawang babae at tinakbo na papalabas ng kwarto ni Atlas.

"Chill, Kairos. Hindi pa ba sapat yung tatlo? You should've just told me. Ibibigay ko naman ang mga girls sa'yo. I could just find others to entertain me." He sat back on his bed as if I'm not threatening him with a gun to his head. He knows I would never harm him and Vashka. But maybe this time, I'll be doing some damage.

"Stop sending girls to my room. They're fucking annoying." In fact, none of them aroused me at all. Despite their attempts, they do nothing but make me as dry as Sahara desert.

"Come on, Kairos, it's been almost a month. And your marriage was a sham anyway. No need to be celibate."

I smirked sardonically. "I'm not being celibate. I just have better things to do than to be led by my dick."

Before I could antagonize him more, my phone rang.

"What?!" I snapped. I've been doing that a lot lately, according to my brothers. They're bluffing. Sadyang nakakairita lang sila at hindi ko kasalanan kung bakit ako palaging naiinis.

"This morning, my men declared Mancini territory wiped off completely. I have you to thank, Kairos."

Despiadados and Islas have come to a temporary truce. We have been doing this operation for almost a month. After Mancini's fall, both territories wanted to be sure that none will be left of the Mancini organization. The underbosses, captains, and soldiers were eliminated. If we spare their lives, those people might get ideas and plot revenge to honor their leader.

"Namiss mo ba ako kaagad, Islas? We just saw each other yesterday. It would have been nice if you said that to my face."

But I know why he didn't. Thanking me in front of his soldiers would be admitting that he is crippled without Despiadados's help. It would discredit him as a capo.

"As payment, I can give you updates on my daughter."

My eye twitched. This is not a subject I'd like to talk about in front of an audience. I muted the call and turned to Atlas.

"Do not pull that stunt again, Atlas. Stop assuming what I want and do not want. Kaya ko ang sarili ko."

I left his room and unmuted the call.

"What makes you think I want that?"

"Tingin mo'y hindi ko alam ang pag aligid ni Sibley Esquilin sa anak ko?"
