no one's pov~ you ran through the forest with jake hands in your hands. you ran until you heard a body fall on the ground, you looked down at jake who was on the ground. "no...JAKE!" you screamed and got on your kness and started shaking him.
"jake get up please!" you screamed as the machines got closer to you and him. "MA JAKE PLEASE GET UP!" you yelled and started sobbing loudly.
"MOTHER EWYA PLEASE HELP ME!" you yelled and started to drag him as you sobbed out of worry. trees continued to fall and you jumped at every tree that fell.
you cried and cried as jake continue not to move, you looked at everything that was going on. you wiped your tears as everything went in slow motion, you closed your eyes as you accepted the fact that you were going to die.
"i can't save us jake." you whispered to him as you held him in your arms, you still had your eyes closed.
jake's pov~ i woke up only to see dust and no trees in sight, and fires everywhere. "y/n?" i called as i saw her holding me. her eyes were closed but she was still crying so i knew she was still alive.
she opened your eyes and looked straight at me, "jake." she said and looked around. she started sobbing and hugged me, "my home." she whispered into my shoulders. i hugged her tightly as she sobbed and sobbed.
wind blew but we still didn't move and y/n's sobbing filled my ears. i felt someone hit my chest, i looked down only to see y/n was hitting me. i stood up and she did the same, "WHY?!" she continued to hitting me and i held out my arms trying to get her to stop.
"stop! y/n-" i spoke but it didn't stop her, "WHY DIDN'T ANSWER WHEN I CALLED?!" she screamed and i stopped trying to make her stop.
i grabbed her arms and pulled her into a hug as she tried to get out of my arms. "GOD DAMNIT JAKE LET GO!" she yelled but i didn't let go of her. "i love you y/n." i spoke and she continued to tried and get out of my arms.
tears started to fall out of my eyes. "i love you y/n and i'm sorry. please forgive me." i said and my voice started to break up.
she stopped trying to fight me and hugged me back, "jake i love you too and i forgive you." she said and kissed my chest.
