All the way to the house,the two brothers talk about the news of their day, about how they spent their day, what they ate, they told jokes and sang along to the songs that were playing on the radio.
The longer I was in the car, the worse the pain in my chest became.
Why can't I have them here with me?
To see them laughing, teasing each other, annoying me, doing stupid things that I would have to yell at them.
Wouldn't it be better if I had died with them?
My dreams disappeared in one night along with their beautiful faces.
I will never see them again.
Never again
They say that with time everything will get better, I think they are talking bullshit.
In time I will simply forget their faces, their voices, their touch. I never let them hug me, sometimes maybe they even begged me. It annoyed me that they insisted so much that I yelled at them.
Now I would do anything just to stroke their hair.
I would give all the riches in the world just for a hug.

"We're here!"
"Finally. Theo, my butt hurts!"
"Um-"
"Do something!"
"You'll just have to get up and walk" the little guy remained in his chair thoughtfully.
"Okay I believe You!" he said happily and quickly got out of the car and started running around.
"What are you doing?" Theo asked him with a smile on his face. The little one stopped, and spoke in a 'serious' voice.
"I thought if I ran, my butt would stop hurting faster" Theo started to laugh as he started to close the car door.
I got out and before I could even start walking towards the door, a small hand grabbed mine.
"What's your name?" he said as he looked at me with those big innocent eyes of his.
"Elli" I answered him in my usual empty voice.
I thought I would scare him but he smiled and hugged my leg , since he is short for his age.
"Can you carry me? I'm tired!" he said plaintively reminding me of memories that put me in a similar situation.
"Angel, I'll take you -"
"No, I want Elli!" he said and started shouting and crying. I don't know how long I can hold back the tears.
I bent down so we were almost at the same height and pulled him up. He stopped crying right away and started playing with my long black hair.
I walked towards the door that led into the house with Theo following me.
"You have very beautiful eyes, you know that?" he asked while holding my cheeks with both his hands.
"Where are we going ?" I turned and asked Theo since he was still behind.
I want to get rid of both of them asap.
"In the living room" he said while typing on his cell phone.
I nodded and tried not to look at Angel.
When we got there I left him on the sofa and started walking quickly towards the exit.
I hadn't noticed that there were others in the living room before my name was called. I have to stop and turn to face them.
"Come sit with us" Leo said and pointed to the couch.
"I have work to do" I replied and before they could answer I continued walking.
Five more steps and I'll be able to breathe.
