Shades Rossi Pov
i got up from my bed when i heard someone screeming. Without a second thought i ran to Elli's room.
Before I left my room I made sure I had taken my gun with me.
I ran as fast as I could. Her guards, whom I had told them to remain outside her door ,day and night, were missing.
What the hell.
I took a breath and kicked the door causing some pieces of wood to fly out.
I saw her struggling in her sleep and crying.
Without a second thought , I went towards her , grabbed her hands and held them to her sides so she wouldn't get hurt.
"Ellie... Wake up." I said. She started crying more and yelling.
"I didn't do anything I swear! Please don't hurt them! No- no
s-stop ... NO!"
"Elli wake up!" I said as I shook her. She suddenly opened her eyes and started looking around, still crying.
She probably didn't realize it was me holding her hands because she was violently trying to get away from my touch.
"It's fine Ellie." she didn't seem to hear me.
"Ellie it was just a nightmare. You're fine now" I said grabbing her shoulders to make her look at me.
"All good." I told her but as soon as she looked at me I felt a pain in my heart.
Her big blue-green eyes glistened in the dark with tears.
"I-I'm sorry..i-i didn't-"
"Don't apologize. It wasn't your fault. Things like this happen" I said in a sweet voice as i put the falling hair behind her ears. This left us both speechless.
Wake up Shades.
Don't you see that she makes you weak?
"It's late, you should sleep" I got up from her bed ready to leave and forget about her again.
"Shades wait!"
Don't talk to her. Keep walking.
"Shades please wait!"
Don't stop you useless shit. She's just pretending to distract you.
I left her room almost running.
What's wrong kid? Can't handle a little pressure?
"Shut up!" I yelled but that voice in my head started laughing. "Shut up!" I yelled throwing my gun at the opposite wall.
Ahh the little man can't stand his own thoughts? Ridiculous!
At this point I had started running towards my room. In less than two minutes I had arrived panting heavily.
I can't let her see me like this. I don't need her to know.
With quick steps, I entered the bathroom of my room and took the box of pills.
I thought they would get better but I guess I was wrong.
You will never get rid of me you little shit.
"I said shut up!" the next thing i remember is my fist smashing the mirror and blood dripping from my hand onto the marble floor.

"Your breakfast is ready sir." tying my tie I glanced at the clock on my bedside table realizing that if I don't leave now I will be late for the meeting.
"I won't eat. I don't have time." I answered my housekeeper, Mrs. Mare, as I gathered the papers I would need.
"Make sure my sister eats well. Not like last time. I won't tolerate it." I said sternly as I remembered my sister's tendency to not eat her food.
"I'll try sir." said Mrs. Mare with her usual golden smile.
"If she tires you out or doesn't listen to you, call Cairo, because I'll be in the meeting."
"With all due respect sir but the only person she seems to enjoy tires is you." she said with a small chuckle.
"I have to go." I said as I walked out of my office and towards the front door.
The previous conversation replayed in my mind over and over. Before the headache started I decided not to bother with things that were wasting my time.

"Thank you very much Mr. Rossi for our cooperation."
"The pleasure is all mine Mr. Thak." I replied as I accepted his handshake.
"Now will-" I was interrupted by the ringing of my cell phone. I saw it was Mrs. Mare but I paid no attention.
I told her not to call me.
"Sorry for the interruption, we had-" another ring from my cell phone. I was about to turn off my cell phone but as soon as I saw Cairo calling me I stopped myself from jumping out of the chair.
"I think there's something going on for it to take so many times," John advised.
John Thack is one of my most trusted suppliers.
" I apologize."
"Nonsense! Pick up the phone young man. We'll continue our conversation another time." he said as he got up from the plush chairs we've been sitting in for two hours.
When I was sure he had left the room, I called Cairo. He picked it up on the first hit which made me a little worried.
"What is it? You don't know that -"
" Elli - "
"I'll be there in five" I finished closing while already unlocking the car.
Run little boy.
After all she can't seem to care about you.
You will die and she will be laughing.
Hahaha useless shit.
"Enough!"
