"You are marrying him. No other discussions." I stayed silent, staring down while I could feel my father's stare through me.

"But-"

"I didn't give you permission to speak!" His loud voice echoed through the office room and I nodded, clasping my mouth shut.

"Call him in." My father told someone to call him in and I just heard footsteps, not willing to look up.

A million questions and doubts were running in my mind but I don't have a say. I never had a choice.

I heard the familiar footsteps walking in, the familiar footsteps that I have been hearing since I was 15, the one that has been following me around as if it was to guard me.

I'm a nobody to guard.

"You're marrying my daughter but I'm not giving you anything from my fortune. Everything goes to my other princesses, not this one." He said in pure disgust while I shrunk on my seat, feeling embarrassed.

The man behind me didn't say anything and I'm sure he's just nodding his head.

"Here's rings for both of you. Take it." My father threw it to me, not even giving it properly and I flinched, getting teary.

The man picked it up because I heard him moving beside me.

"Thank you, Sir." I heard his deep voice.

"You, look up. Sign here and you, sign here. Exchange rings and get out from my house." My father slapped a paper in front of us and I was surprised.

"N-now?" I looked at him, tearing up badly and my father got angry.

"I did not give you permission to speak!" He yelled, throwing something a book my way and I flinched, feeling my head thumping in pain.

I gripped on my skirt, feeling tears welling up and I stood up, signing above my name.

It was a marriage license.

The man signed beside me, putting the pen down and pushed it to my father.

"Take your things and get out. You, come back to work tomorrow. There's no special treatment for you." I heard my father saying and I just nodded, glancing at the man's foot standing beside me.

The man walked out and I followed him, walking out of my father's office room.

"I'll wait downstairs." I heard him say and I nodded, walking away.

The moment I reached my room, I bursted out crying, slumping on the floor.

I felt my head hurting so bad, making me cry much harder and having a throbbing headache.

Marriage? Why would he get me married to a random person? What if he does bad things to me?!

I packed my clothes with my tears streaming down, holding my duffel bag. I stuffed everything I had but I really didn't have anything.

I was never given anything.

I wiped my face, walking out of my bedroom and walked downstairs slowly.

I went to the front door, looking around and I will miss the backyard. I love the backyard the most.

I looked at Merlyn that was hiding behind the stares, waving at me and I teared up, waving at her back.

I couldn't even talk to her.

"Let's go." I looked at the voice, staring at the tall man that was wearing a suit and I glanced at his shoes, trying to figure out who is it.

I never seen the man's face.
