"I don't want to stay there." I mumbled, gripping on Aarav's arm and I was scared to go back.
I don't want to go back.
I don't want to stay in there.
"I'll be there. Don't worry." He said glancing at me while driving to my fathers.
It's been nearly a year since we're married and I have never gone back.
I'm scared, I'm really scared.
We arrived at my father's front door and I was gripping on Aarav's sleeve. I don't want to meet my father or my sisters.
I know they're here because I saw their cars.
"Who the hell are you?" I looked up finding Devi and I glanced at Aarav, realising she doesn't recognise me.
"Ira. Father asked me to come-"
"Oh shit. You? How the hell do you look so polished? What-" Aarav just pulled me in, ignoring my sister and I freaked out, being scared that she might do something.
"You don't need to listen to her. I told you, hold your head up. You don't have anything to be scared off." He said sternly to me and I nodded, following him.
One of the maid brought us to father and even she didn't recognise me.
Was I too different before?
We came on a halt at the dining area and the table was filled with my- no, father's family.
"Is that the bitch? She looks different." Amrita pointed at me and her husband glanced at me but he stopped, staring at me.
My eldest sister, Devi joined the table, huffing and glaring at me and her husband was staring too. My step mother was shooting daggers at me, as if I came to take her throne that I have no interest in.
I felt weird with their gazes on me and I clutched on Aarav's arm, feeling so out of place.
I want to go back to our home.
"You actually look like you belong here now and I can see both of you gotten close." My father's voice echoed through the room, making everyone silent.
His brown eyes gazed at my hand holding on Aarav's arm and Aarav just stood still, having his cold face on.
He really hates everyone.
"Hi father. Good to see everyone." I mumbled, nodding my head and they just didn't acknowledge me after.
"You look pretty- you have the slut's face. She was a real pretty one." He said in a mocking voice and I wanted to put my head down after hearing that but I didn't.
"Papa, send her away. My eyes are hurting to see her walk around freely."
"I'm going to, my princess- I wanted you here because of him. He wants to meet you- this stupid ass thinks sentiments. He use to play with you." My father said and I didn't understand who was it.
I heard another footsteps to our way and I stared at the man that was shorter than Aarav, older than him too.
"Hey loser." I stared at him, feeling like I recognise him from somewhere and I froze.
