I woke up in the middle of the night, feeling so hot and I found myself leaning on him, looking at him asleep with me in his arms.
He was holding me tightly.
I found a dry napkin on my forehead and his weird baggy shirt on me because I don't have a shirt. I know it's not mine.
I touched my neck and I was warm.
Maybe I had a fever- did he took care of me? I had someone to take care of me?
He suddenly rustled in his sleep, looking at me and he touched my forehead, making me flinch a little.
"You're still warm."
"I'm okay." I mumbled and he stares at me but looked at the clock and moved away from me.
He just stood up, grabbing a towel and walked into the bathroom.
I slumped back on the bed, taking off the baggy shirt and stared at the clock, realising it's already 7am and he must be getting ready for work.
I stood up, thinking what should I make breakfast for him and I don't know what he likes.
I know I have to make him breakfast because that is what the maids does. They make breakfast for the husbands and leave to work.
I wanted to wash myself up but I didn't know if there's other bathroom. I went through my duffel bag, taking my toothbrush.
I went to the kitchen sink since he was inside the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face, clearing the sink again.
I looked at the fridge, staring at the ingredients.
"What are you doing here?" I looked at him and he was staring at me, already wearing pants and a black shirt.
"Cook for you." I mumbled.
"Go."
"But-"
"Go." He said sternly, pointing at the room and I got scared because he looked mad. He is so big and tall.
I easily tear up even though it's usual for me.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled, feeling myself tear up and quickly went into the room, slumping on the comfiest bed and pulled the blanket close to me.
I clutched my eyes shut, not wanting to cry but I kept wiping my cheeks, pulling the blanket to my face.
I heard him walking around, taking something and I peeked at him, finding him fully dressed to work.
He almost turned around and I quickly hide behind the blanket, not wanting to see him.
"Get groceries or whatever you want. I leave my card on the kitchen tabletop. I'll be back by 6." He said as if he knows I'm awake.
I pulled the blanket slowly, catching him staring at me.
"Where is the grocery store? How does it look like?" I questioned slowly and he stares at me, looking away and letting out a heavy breath.
Maybe I'm being difficult.
"I'll look for it myself. I'm sorry." I mumbled and he just walks away, letting me hear a loud door slam.
I sat still on the bed, not understanding what he thinks or what should I do.
I eventually got up after feeling comfy on the bed, making the bed and took a shower. I had to make myself familiar with the knobs because it had hot and cold water!
It was amazing.
I always had a bucket of water with water ladle, not a machine thing that gave me water hot and cold water.
