I stared at Aarav sleeping on my pillow with his arm around me.
I cracked a smile, staring at him while he slept so soundly, not moving since last night.
He made me feel beautiful, being soft and gentle. I don't know how to respond to most of the things he did and I was bewildered, does it actually go like this?
But it was good. I felt really good with him.
I rolled over, playing with his hair and my body is sore, feeling a little tired but I've been trying to sleep.
I just put it on hold to stare at him up close, memorising his features. I snuggled closer, kissing his cheek and slept.
"Hi." I woke up later, looking at Aarav staring at me and kissed my cheek, pulling me close to him.
I just leaned on his chest while he pushed my hair away, stroking my head gently.
"You okay?" I nodded, holding the blanket to my chest.
I heard our front door bell ringing and he stood up, going to the front while I just laid on the bed, taking time for myself.
I felt a little weird, a sense of relief but also an uneasy feeling but I pushed it away, thinking good things.
I almost fell asleep but I heard squeaky sonds, making me curious and I just laid there, staring at our bedroom door.
Balloons came in and I stared at it, looking at it properly and Aarav was holding it along with a large paper bag and a medium sized envelope.
"Those are so pretty. Is it for our anniversary? I like the pretty colours." I smiled, staring at the soft colours and Aarav sat beside me, pulling me on his lap.
"You forgot something." Aarav said looking at me and I looked at him, thinking about it.
"I don't think so but thanks for the balloons. I always wanted it." I mumbled, leaning on him and one of the balloons turned with a writing happy birthday.
"It's for your birthday? I should've bought it yesterday. Sorry." I said kissing his cheek but he cracks a small smile, wrapping his arms around me.
He gave me the envelope and I looked at it, realising it has my name on it and I opened it, finding our marriage certificate and official cards.
"Happy birthday, my love." He kisses my cheek and I stared at the date on the card, making me realise.
I got married on my birthday.
"I forgot our anniversary and my birthday." I mumbled, frowning at him and he just shrugs, holding me in his arms.
"It was a- rough time but you look cute there." He said tapping the picture on the card and I chuckled, glancing at him.
"You made me stand and take my picture. I was so confused back then." I mumbled, leaning on him but I smiled, staring at our cards.
"Ira Aarav, I like it." I glanced at him that had a small smile, staring at it.
"Look at you, so grumpy and ready to punch someone." I said pointing at his picture and he gives me a look, making me grin.
