I was marching to the beach while wearing a white tank top and shorts because I do not like exposing myself too much.
I know everyone wears bikinis but I don't like it because of my weird scars.
"Wait— wait." Aarav pulled me, wearing me a big hat and got some lotion on my arms, rubbing my cheeks.
I stared at Aarav that was wearing sunglasses, wearing a loose tank top with shorts. His hair was messy because of the wind but he looks handsome like always.
He looked cute.
"We're brown, do we need sunscreen?"
"You can't handle heat well like I do. You'll get blisters." He mumbled, rubbing some on the back of my neck and my legs.
I just stood there, watching him and I took it from him, putting some on him.
"But you still need some, lean down." I pulled him, pushing his glasses and put some on his face, arms— he didn't let me put on his legs. He just waved it off.
"Thank you for putting lotion and let's get a spot! I'm making sandcastles!" I kissed Aarav's cheek, pulling him towards the beach and he chuckled, gripping on my hand.
We got a good spot, having some warm breeze and Aarav had a mat put down to sit, laying out some food.
I was on a mission.
"I made my first sandcastle! Aarav, look!" I shrieked in excitement, showing it proudly to Aarav and he even collected seashells for me to decorate it with.
"That looks so cute, sit closer, I'll take a picture." He said taking his phone and I grinned, moving close to the sandcastle.
I taken a few pictures myself because I never gotten to do these. It's my first time at a beach.
I just sat there, making more things with the whole set that Aarav bought for me.
It was for children but who cares? I'm enjoying it.
"Why am I moving?!" I clutched on Aarav when we stood just near the water but I felt like I moved when the waves hit but I didn't move.
He cracked a small smile, wrapping his arms around me.
"It's normal, the waves are just pulling you in. Wanna go in deeper?" I nodded and he pulled me in slowly while I still gripped on him.
"I don't know how to swim!"
"It's okay, I got you." He held me to him, holding me tightly and eventually pulled my legs around his waist, holding me up.
I cling on him, looking at the water.
"It's like never ending— so beautiful." I mumbled, propping my head on Aarav's shoulder and he kissed my cheek, making me blush slightly, looking at him.
I kissed his cheek back, making him smile.
"Are you happy?"
"Extremely, always with you. Thank you for bringing me here, Aarav. I love you." I kissed his lips and he kisses me back, smiling at me.
