Genesis POV:

I kept crying not only because I might lose my baby, but also creepy witch-man, keeps trying to touch me and was getting more aggressive. Elijah appears, leaning on the wall. "If I see, that man touch her again. You will have to bury two bodies rather than one." I hear him say, I get up knocking my drink over, and rushing into his arms. I start crying, and the creeper leaves the room.

"She can't. I'm not entirely certain that I can, either. But now that your coven has drawn his ire, I have a question: What prevents my brother from murdering you instead of cooperating?" He continues and runs his fingers through my hair, with one hand and with the other he runs my back.

The witch takes a needle and shows it to Elijah, who just pulls me closer to his chest. She sticks the needle into her hand, I hiss in pain, and Elijah grabs my hand. There is a drop of blood on her hand, exactly at the same point where Sophie hurt herself. "¿Qué demonios? ¿Por que me estas haciendo esto?" I scream at the witches, Elijah looks frightened. He hasn't seen me like this, he'll I haven't seen myself like this in a while.

Genesis: What the hell? Why are you doing me this?]

"The spell my sister performed, the one that got her killed? It didn't just transfer the pregnancy. It linked me to Genesis. So anything that happens to me, happens to her, which means her life is in my hands. Klaus may not care about his child, but it's very clear what it already means to you. If I have to hurt Genesis – or worse – to ensure that I have your attention, I will." She says, and I can feel Elijah shake slightly.

"You would dare threaten an Original?" He says with a smirk, "I have nothing to lose." She says, 'oh god, she is dangerous,' is all I think to myself. The grin falls from Elijah's face. "You have until midnight to get Klaus to change his mind." She says, and Elijah looks at me. "No necesito tu piedad, necesito que complies tu palabra," I tell him and he nods, and leaves us.

The witches are still in the mausoleum. The church clock starts tolling. 'Oh God, Elijah, please.'  "His time is up. What're you gonna do now, Sophie?" One of the witches says she was much older than the lot of them. "I'm gonna do what I said was gonna do." I hear my kidnapper say, 'No, I will not let her kill me or my child,' I think to myself.

"What, kill the girl? Kill yourself?" Another one says, "Klaus does not care about the child." The older one says, 'Come on, Elijah. You promised me, you gave me your word,' I think to myself. When all of a sudden he appears, "I do," he says and comes into the mausoleum, carrying the body of Jane-Anne.

"And I bring proof of my intent to help you: the body of your fallen friend, which I procured from Marcel himself." He says, putting her body down. And I run to him. "Jane-Anne." I hear my kidnapper say, "May she be granted peace. Klaus will agree to your terms. I just need a little more time." Elijah says and pulls me close.

"You had your time. It's passed." The older witch says, and I gasp and Elijah pulls me closer. "Shut up, Agnes." The brown curly-haired witch says and glares at me, "For now, accept the deal. The girl and the child remain unharmed, or Klaus will kill you all." He says and starts pulling me away. As we walk away, he stops and turns around again. "And I will help him." He lets me go and kisses my forehead and leaves.

I walk around this was a huge house. One with stairs, I have only seen stairs in moves and tv shows as well as doctor's appointments. I pull a sheet off of a crib and start coughing because of the dust. 'God, I hope I can get my inhaler.' "Are you alright?" He asks me concerned, "Just dust. This place is ancient. And uhh...I have asthma. I'm guessing the witches didn't take my inhaler with me." I say.

"Yes, it should serve our purposes. It's a sanctuary from our business in the Quarter. Right now, you are the most important person in this family. You need a good home." He says, and I nod. "I'm kinda tired. I couldn't sleep there, and not with that creeper," I said shivering. He glares at the mention of the creeper as I have called him.

"I will always protect you. You have my word on that." He says, and I smile. "I know, you have given me your word multiple times," I say when Klaus appears. "And noble Elijah always keeps his word." He says, "Is it done?" Elijah asks gently touching the wound on my head, he looked slightly dissatisfied with his work.

"As a matter of fact, yes. Your underhanded deal worked quite well. Marcel was only too happy to accept my blood even as he accepted my heartfelt apologies. His man, Thierry, yet lives, and I remain a welcome guest in the French Quarter. My only concern now is this coven of impudent witches." Klaus says, looking at us, Elijah was pulling out some glass.

"I believe them to be honorable. They did release Genesis to me. Although, they haven't been entirely forthcoming. Marcel has something that they need. They don't want him dead. There must be a reason why." Elijah says, and he is finally finished. He nods and smiles at his new work.

"Estoy cansada, Elijah. ¿Puedo ir a dormir ahora?" I ask him, and he nods and takes me to another room. I can feel Klaus's eyes on us, but mostly on Elijah. "Aquí está tu dormitorio. Noes el mejor, pero servirá por ahora. Iré a la tienda esta noche y compraré comida para ti y el bebé." He tells me and I nod. "¿Quieres que te devuelva el abrigo?" I ask him. He shakes his head no. And leaves.

Genesis: I'm tired, Elijah. Can I go to sleep now?

Elijah: Here is your bedroom. It's not the best, but it'll do for now. I'll go to the store tonight and buy food for you and the baby.

Genesis: Do you want your coat back?]
