Field Trip Day

This is my most nostalgic reader inserts, I hope it comforts you as it had me. This one is sadly unfinished.

Technically this wasn't a ship story.

It was a field trip day, nothing fancy like you'd expect for the hero course, just a trip to a local hero museum that had stuff from the many ages of heros, before and after quirks became a thing. The buzz in the dorms was proof of everyone's excitement even for such a mundane trip as this. Iida and Yaomomo were making sure everyone packed snacks for the trip there and back and advised their classmates to bring a book or some form of entertainment before splitting up into pairs.

"With there being an uneven number of people, someone will have to sit in the very back seat by themself-" Iida started before a loud explosion interrupted him.

"That seat is mine you damn extras!" Bakugo declared, eyes narrowed as if to dare anyone to challenge him but everyone seemed pretty okay with that. Well, except for you. No one had partnered up with you yet.

"Oh hey! Don't have a partner either?" A shy but cheerful voice asked from behind you. Midoriya stood there, All Might cap on wearing one his typical t-shirts and cargo shorts. His backpack seemed over stuffed and he fidgeted with the straps.

"No way- no one wanted to sit with you??" You asked in disbelief, purely shocked. Midoriya seemed like the guy that everyone would flock to. Then your eyes caught the crowd around Todoroki and Momo. *oh* You thought, before realizing that Todoroki would be perfect to fall asleep against and Momo could probably make a fan or a blanket if needed. Midoriya scratched the back of his head.

"Uraraka already paired up with Asui- I mean Tsu- and then Iida is sitting up at the front with the teachers with Kouda.... Todoroki kinda has a lot of people wanting to sit with him so I figured I'd find someone else-" he sighed before his eyes widened and he panicked. "N-not that I'm saying you're a second choice or anything! I think you're both very good friends of mine! Equals!"

You laughed softly, putting a hand on the males shoulder. "Calm down Midoriya- I'll happily sit with you. Besides I figure you packed a lot of snacks by the way your bag looks." There were other perks to sitting with Midoriya too like quality time together, getting a famous Midoriya cuddle or even a bear hug- and of course some insight into what he likes. Surprisingly for the guy the whole class looked up to, there were a lot of things no one knew about him, things you wanted to learn.

His emerald eyes lit up in joy at your acceptance and you just smiled and laughed softly, ruffling his hair which made him laugh too, how cute.

Iida soon spoke up after everyone aside from Bakugo partnered up, "We'll be on the same bus as Class B so please for the teacher's sake stay on one side of the bus so that its easier for attendance." That seemed like pretty reasonable advice, the teacher's really deserved a break, especially Mr. Aizawa. "Now, with your seat partner, please line up at the door in order from last seat to first to make it easier for everyone to sit down and quickly leave." Yet more good advice for our one and only Class Rep.

"Iida's gotten much better at his procedures, he moves his hands a little less robotically too." Midoriya commented from beside you, before his expression twisted into horror as Bakugo approached you two. "Oh h-hey there Kacchan!"

"Hey nerd, are ya sitting in the back in front of me?" The ash blonde asked, his usual anger and angst not around. He was much nicer as this calm human being-

"Oh well I was gonna try sit near Uraraka-"

"Tch, fine sit by your girlfriend." The blonde walked off, hands in his pockets. Midoriya's face gained a bright pink color and he looked like he was about to explode.
