'It was the night I saw him practicing in the apartment we shared, that I knew. I had fallen in love with him'
[Chapter one]
~Auditions and Rehearsals~
Katsuki Bakugo, a young adult with a scary history had been preparing his whole life for today. Today was the day he got to try out for his first main character role for a movie. He had always been given supporting character roles, but today would be different. He would finally be on his way to being a star. He woke up fairly early, his mind running at 100 miles per hour as he quickly took a shower, got dressed in his uniform and brushed his teeth. His small tabby cat Bandit watched his every move. The cat could never understand his owner, he would rush to do somethings but yet he was still slow with feeding him.
The ash blonde made some toast and fed his cat, eating on his way to work for his big day. He didn't bother with any of his co-workers as he usually did, instead rushing to get to the auditions room so he could get a turn with the directors to prove he should get the part. Upon entering the auditions room, Bakugo immediately noticed that the part he had been wanting was taken by none other than his more successful rival, Midoriya. The green haired male was currently bragging and saying that he was gonna be the best actor in town after the movie was released.
It was no secret that Midoriya always auditioned for the roles Bakugo wanted due to him just wanting to ruin the ash blonde. This rivalry had started way back in kindergarten when Midoriya got the main role in a play that Bakugo had been practicing for weeks to get. Ever since then, Midoriya would just take the places Bakugo worked hard to try to get. Bakugo had even dropped out of the acting career for a while because of it, instead taking a job at a coffee shop while Midoriya continued to grow more and more popular.
With the job taken, Bakugo was ready to just go back home and he walked out the auditions room and to his dressing room to rethink his goals. His room wasn't anything fancy, just a basic room with one window facing out to the park that he often spent his weekends in. There was a vanity and clothesline on one wall while the rest of the room was bare except for a couch and coffee table. Bakugo never minded though, a simple room was all he had asked for after all.
He sighed as he plopped down onto the beige couch, slowly moving to lay down on it and he closed his eyes for a bit. It was maybe and hour later when there was a knock on his door and he opened his eyes and slowly got up to open the door. "What do you need-" He paused when he saw it was Hizashi, one of the directors holding a script. "Hey Katsuki I know you're not taking that loss of that big lead... But if you're still interested in playing a main character I found a good one" the taller male said, holding out the script for Katsuki. The ash blonde sighed but looked over the papers he was given. "A waiter eh? You know me too well Yamada. It looks interesting.... But if I'm gonna play this change the other main character to a guy" Bakugo said before handing the script back. "It would be more interesting to see a prince fall in love with a commoner than just another fairy tale about a princess" He added before walking back into his room.
Not even a minute after their conversation, Hizashi was talking to the writer of the story about changing the characters per Bakugo's request and then texted the ash blonde to say that his request was made official. Bakugo was happy with this and accepted the part, saying that although it wasn't the part he had wanted, he would take this opportunity to prove his worth. He was also kinda excited to see who he would be working with.
It was noon when the writer for the movie Bakugo was starring in had called for a meeting to go over the story line of the movie and how the characters would be acting with each other. The meeting dragged on late into the evening as the other actors asked questions, asked for things to be repeated and started to get to know each other. It all reminded Bakugo of the first time he auditioned for a movie, the meeting had been long and everyone had gotten off topic so much while chatting. Remembering that, the ash blonde smiled and joined in the conversation after awhile.
