"Who was that?" I shrugged and gave a little snort. "Jake. He rides with Heeseung and Jay on the team." My best friend nodded and looked back at the spot where number 81 and I had been standing.

"Do you know him well?" I waved off. "Talk to him once in a while. He's nice enough." I knew Melissa was already thinking the wrong thing and blocked out all her fantasies. "And no. There's nothing going on between us."

Her shoulders slumped in disappointment and I began to grin. "These people who always immediately think that when a boy and a girl talk to each other, they're either friends with benefits or dating."

"I'd give it to you sometime," came brashly from the brown-head and I shook my head. "As far as I know, you haven't had any contact with a male mouth after that one time at the party." I blushed and turned forward as our teacher realized we weren't paying attention.

"You don't always have to be stuck on one guy. You know there's more to us girls than that." Melissa nodded and nibbled on the end of her pencil.

"Still, I wouldn't begrudge you that." I smirked and rubbed my nose once. "So would I to you."

Almost throwing up, I glanced at the wall next to the food table and watched as Heeseung nearly swallowed his meal.

I seem to remember telling him to take it slow with her. Had worked out great, after all. And now, looking at Aleyshia more closely, the words of number 81 came back to me.

He had told me that Aleyshia was not as innocent as one seems to think. I don't know why he claimed that, but he must have his reasons.

"Cute, isn't it?" asked me Melissa, who was sipping her orange juice. "Sugar sweet," I gave out with a sigh, glancing next to me as the hazel brown-eyed one made himself comfortable there.

"Could be sweeter," he commented, giving me a knowing look. I put on a feigned smile and glanced down at my lap for a moment. It was weird that he knew about my crush on Heeseung, but I was more than grateful that he kept it to himself, too.

"Melissa." My best friend held out her hand to the Spaniard and he cringed a little, not being prepared for it. However, he then began to smile and took her hand in his. "Jake."

As he looked at her, it seemed to me that Melissa was eyeing him particularly. She didn't have time to question him, though, as he turned back to me.

"So, got home okay yesterday?" In the corner of my eye, I saw Melissa raise her eyebrow and drop tensely into her recliner. "Somewhat."

My neighbor's full eyebrows drew together in confusion. "Had a little incident with my grandmother." I didn't make him wait long for an answer, since I had been able to interpret his look.

A sort of mischievous grin grew on Melissa's lips and I tried to ignore it. Number 81 didn't answer anything else, as he didn't seem to want to offend me, which I appreciated a lot about him.

The black-haired man turned to Heeseung, who was fooling around with Aleyshia, and automatically my mood sank again. I had forgotten about Heeseung for a short time.

"You know, you could also help out at Heeseung's parents' company. You'd make good money there." My best friend's voice rang out and both me and Jake turned our heads in her direction.

He because he didn't understand why and I because on one hand I was intrigued by the idea, but on the other hand I actually wanted to turn away from Heeseung a little.
