"I don't like parties," I grumbled as I got out of Jake's car and waited for him. "Just think of it as a mission then," he joked as he cleared a path for me. "Mission impossible or what?" I laughed softly and looked up at him. He merely shook his head, though, and we could both hear the bass already.

My hair, unlike usual, was down and fell over my shoulders. I had very little makeup on my face, but dressed I was not at all chic. I wore black boots, a loose, light blue jeans, which had large holes and under my oversize jacket hid a tight crop top, which I found suitable, since it was usually quite warm at parties. Color-wise I had remained rather plain.

Jake had done the same to me and wore something similar to what he had worn the last time he wanted to go to the party. My eyes lingered on his hair and I began to grin. I had been able to talk him into keeping the curls for tonight and I hadn't said it to his face, but he looked really good.

"Let's get this straight. We don't drink alcohol. Me because I drive and you because I don't want to do that to myself." I nodded. I hadn't planned on it anyway. I only had Heeseung in my sights. I wanted to see if he was messing with me or really felt something for me.

"On top of that, you have to be careful that Hee-Bambi doesn't see you. Otherwise, it's all fucked up." I felt like I was in class, where the teacher preached to you what was allowed and what wasn't.

"You can go ahead and have fun. I didn't say you had to hide," the Spaniard added as we walked toward the open front door. "Not much of a party person, but will see what it's like."

My voice was lost right in the music as we entered the big house and right away I looked around, not wanting to blow my cover right away. We didn't want to get lost and for safety we held our hands as we wanted to get lost in the crowd.

I found it quite amusing how many just moved aside when they spotted Jake. Apparently, they knew him. I kept my gaze low though, as I didn't really want anyone to recognize me.

The house was pretty modern and we stopped in front of a counter that separated the kitchen from the extremely large living room. I didn't really look over the people and asked Jake if he could see Heeseung. But he merely shook his head and briefly fixed on a girl who was trying to hint that she was interested.

"You can have fun too," I tried to tell him as the music got a little louder. But he merely shrugged his shoulders and turned to me. "Don't feel like it." The girl's welcoming smile slowly disappeared and somewhat disappointed, she turned to her friend.

I reached up to the Spaniard and laughed. "You just broke her heart." It took him a while to decipher my words, but then he shook his head with a grin. "She'll be fine, and I'm here with you. We have a goal." I nodded.

Jake stretched up a bit as he recognized someone. Instinctively, he pushed me a little behind him and mouthed that Heeseung was nearby. I squinted out from behind the Spaniard and sure enough, I could see my crush, who was laughing and talking with the other team members and Jay.

I was aware that Jake was part of the team and that he should come forward for a moment. So I pressed my hands lightly against his back and gestured for him to join them. Not that they would come to us and Heeseung would then discover me.
