*Lan Wangji's POV*
I am currently sitting in the discussion hall today. I cannot go with Wei Ying while, he is fabricating our marriage truth. But I can still hear them from here.
I felt amuse on how Wei Ying use the truth to fabricate the whole truth. He only lied thrice yet the whole truth was fabricated.
It seems like even how many times he said the truth it still leads the others to believe a fabricated truth.
After a while they entered the Discussion hall.
" Congrats on your Wedding Lan Zhan. I know I said it many times but hey people aren't you congratulating my best friend who wouldn't be a bachelor already?" Wei Ying said as he entered the discussion hall.
Using that cue, people in the room began congratulating me for my wedding.
" Second Young Master Lan, may we ask if your bride is beautiful?" Huaisang asked me.
" Mn. Beautiful, Ethereal, gorgeous." I said with a faint smile.
I notice my Wei Ying getting red. People was kinda surprised seeing my faint smile. I know I do not smile often, but what is in my smile that made people freeze. It's not that in releasing ice and freezing them.
" It seems like the 2nd Jade is heads over heels in love with his bride." A Jin disciple whispered which ofcourse pass through my ear drums.
Well it's true I'm really heads over heels in love with my soon to be husband again. Atleast I don't have to be whip, to suffer to mourn, and to bear everything for 16 years. Then bear all the teasing he didn't mean to give to me. He explained me everything. I don't also have to be drunk and almost had sex with him. My brother don't need to smack some senses in him and him confessing shamelessly.
Yes he is the one who confesses still this time but atleast not in a shameless way.
As I was lost in my thought, I haven't noticed uncle enter the room. He clears his throat to catch the attention of my talking classmate which also pulled me out of my world.
" Wangji, why are you still entering the class when you must prepare for your wedding. Wei Wu Xian accompany your best friend." Uncle said.
I stood up and bowed at him and Wei Ying followed.
I can still see people not believing that Wei Ying is my best friend. The surprised look on their face when uncle called Wei Ying my best friend magnified. Some already knew we are best friend due to the other Jiang disciples, but others did not believe. But now Wei Ying is not anymore only a best friend. I can finally claim him as mine and always mine.
As we went towards the gate I felt the urge of entwining our hands. Unfortunately, for his safety, I have to control myself. We could do everything inside Jingshi, but not here. Not where everyone can see us. I know that person who wants Wei Ying will surely trouble us if ever they had known my beloved is getting married to me.
" Lan Zhan." He called out softly.
I smiled and look at him.
" It seems like your uncle sends us to have a date. Your uncle is fully giving you to me." He teases in a soft voice as to not to catch the crowds attention.
We walked side by side in Caiyi town.
" Have you heard that the Second Jade is to be married?" Said the seller to me and my bride.
How fast can that news travel.
" Is it true?" My beloved asked.
" Yes, Unfortunately, the Second Lotus who loved the Second Jade return to the Lotus Pier crying. He couldn't watch his beloved one be married off to other people." Wei Ying choke on his own saliva while a frown is visible in my face.
" Hey how sure are you that that was Young Master Wei's reaction? Wouldn't he be happy for his best friends wedding? And who is a friend who won't attend a special day of his best friend?" Wei Ying asked angrily.
" Also who spreads that the Second Lotus loved the Second Jade? They are just playful and naughty with each other since they are best friend. Also the Second Jade is the one who brought the Second Lotus back to lotus pier. If the Second Jade and he did not see each other before, maybe there is no second Lotus roaming around Yunmeng." Wei Ying continued.
" Young Man you seemed knowledgeable about the Jade and the Lotus." The seller wondered.
" Can't you see were cultivators not only cultivators, but cultivators close to the person we are talking about. My companion here is a GusuLan disciple while I'm a YunmengJiang disciple. Ofcourse we know everything about our young masters. And to tell you Young Master Wei is the one who spreads about his best friends wedding happily to all the cultivators inside cloud reccesses." He said proudly.
I smiled in my mind. He's showing off again. I find that cute and amusing.
" Let's go now." He said and drag me to other stalls.
" Lan Zhan look. It's very nice." He said.
I look and see what's his pointing. It's a pair tassel. One with lotus and the other one cloud design. It is made of jade, white jade to be specific.
" Lan Zhan let's buy one to celebrate your betrothal." He said with a playful smile.
I just nodded to reply.
He bought the 2 jade tassel and he place the lotus design on Bichen while he placed the cloud one on Suibian.
" Lan Zhan I'm hungry, let's eat first." My love whined.
" Mn." I said and drag him in an inn. The inn we used to eat everytime Wei Ying, Me, and the juniors come here in Caiyi.
" Wei Ying." I called while the waiter brought us food 10 minutes after I ordered.
He notice that there are many red dishes. He looked at me bewildered.
" Lan Zhan you eat spicy foods?" He asked me.
Years of actually married to him taught me how to eat spicy meals. I am the one who is cooking for him ofcourse I have to taste the food if it is dilicious and also to eat with him everytime.
I nodded my head.
He ordered emperor smile and drank it. I also ordered another 10 bottles of Emperor Smile which widen his eyes.
" Lan Zhan this date surprise me. I never thought that out of the 3000 rules of gusu, here their most righteous Young Master can drink wine?" He said in surprised. I just chuckled and placed the wine in a qiakun pouch.
" Lan Zhan are you going to drink that inside cloud reccesses?" He asked.
" Not for me, for you." I said.
" What do you mean?" He asked.
" You are too obvious if you sneak out of cloud reccesses just to bring liquor. Also you held it by hand and can be seen by people. If you go to Caiyi town in the morning and place the liquor in a qiakun pouch it won't be seen and you won't be punish." I explained.
" Wow Lan Zhan you seemed so expert. How many times have you do this." He asked teasingly.
" Never in this lifetime. Just thought about it." I responded.
I only done it in the previous lifetime when I was mourning my beloved.
" Well atleast. With the second jades guidance. I guess I could survive in Cloud Reccesses." He said to me.
After eating we continued to roam around Caiyi town but we did not forget to go to the tailor to make our wedding Garments.
*Someone's person POV*
My beloved Wei Ying, why are you still clinging to him? Can't you see he's getting married and you'll just be hurt. I'm glad for the Jiang's decision to convince the Lan Sect Leader to marry off his son. Atleast after their marriage I can have my Second Lotus all for my self. I'll make sure that that Lan Wangji can never stop me from getting my Lotus.
