Jarred

Their boat travels along the water moving swiftly over the water. Jarred walks over to the captains area to join the rest of his family. They've been travelling for hours now all in the hope that this is the right place.

"Are you sure this is the right island." Jacob asks.

"We've been over this dad. Out of all the other isalnds that have resorts and vacation places this is the most suspicious one." Jenna says.

"Because of some pictures?" Their father asks.

Jarred opens the tablet and shows him the pictures on the resorts website.

"Dad look at them. The husband in this picture is wearing a baggy suit." Jarred says pointing at him.

"This boy is using a first generation ipod and the girl has like 12 butterfly clips in her hair." Jenna adds.

"And the point is??" Elena asks.

"The entire website screams early 2000s." Jarred says. "Which means the site, like the resort it's advertising, is fake."

Their boat continues it's journey the islands shore getting closer. There's 4  boats on the shore. At first Jarred fears they were wrong, but then there's a loud splash as something shoots out from under the water. Jacob stops the boat and they all turn to the wierd looking submarine ship thing.

One of the boats on the island begins to head straight for the submarine. It moves fast and even from this far away Jarred can recognise Maxwells men.

"There." He says. "Jasons there."

"Are you sure?" Elena asks.

"Yes, he is." Jenna says.

Jacob turns the boat and goes after the ship. The submarine sits still for a second but out of nowhere it starts gliding over the water at a very fast speed zooming past Maxwells ship towards the shore. The driver must be blind because the submarine doesn't stop at the shore it goes crashing into it.

Jacob changes course and heads for the beach. The ship docks close to the shore and the Knights jump out and waddle through the water to the submarine. It's door opens and a bunch of teenagers in tacky white informs walk out covering their eyes like they haven't seen the sun in a while.

They barely acknowledged the Knights as they rush the beach celebrating like children. Inbetween them a French boy with crazy brown hair and a small Asian girl walk out with Tyler and Jason behind them. Jasons tacky outfit is red with blood but he's smilling as wide as the others.

"There he is!" Jarred yells running after him.

What he neglected to notice in his excitement is that Maxwells ship had reached the shore and Maxwell himself was pointing a gun right at Jarred. The bullet hits him going through him so fast it takes Jarred a second to understand what just happened to him.

His legs give out and he falls on the beach his blood making little red streams in the sand.

Jenna

Jarred falls to the floor and Jenna cries out as she races towards him. On the other side Jason and Tyler do the same. Jenna kneels beside her brother watching him choke on the blood gushing out of his mouth. Panic makes Jenna have to stifle sobs. She remembers the last time a scene like this happened and the image of the manor burning plays in her head.

"No no no." Jason mutters kneeling on Jarreds other side.

Jenna puts his head between her legs allowing Jarred to breathe a little better. The blood stain on his shirt spreads. Jennas brain knows the smart thing to do is apply pressure to  Jarreds wound, but her body refuses to work.
