30. Begin again

Tyler

When they make their way back to the beach with Tyler holding on to Jason as he carries them through the air they find all of Maxwells men huddled in a group tied together.

"Karmas that bitch, but so are we." Laurent says meeting them with the same smile on his face.

"Is that all of them?" Tyler asks.

"Some of them escaped to the other side of the island. We have a group going after them now." Lilly says appearing with May beside her.

May walks over and hugs Jason.

"I'm glad you're okay." She says.

"I'm glad you're okay too." Jason responds.

Laurent puts his arm around Tyler and leads them away.

"Is it just me or does the sun seem brighter all of a sudden." He jokes.

They find the others sitting around on the beach enjoying the sunlight. Jason looks around at all of them and agrees with Laurents words. For the rest of the day till the sun began to lower in the sky they all got to work. First the rounded up all of Maxwells men and put them on one of the many boats they found on the other side of the island.

They allowed then the chance to escape with their lifes in exchange for never returning. A deal they quickly accepted. With them gone they split into groups, one group went down to the prison to shut down any and all communication leading out of the island to avoid detection.

The other group went around getting an inventory of the fake abandoned resort on the island. By the time darkness truly set in they were all sitting on the beach eating proper food they got from the East wing and talking on the beach. With all the oppressors gone they all finally have the chance to be nothing more than normal kids standed on an island.

Tyler puts his arm around Jason as they watch the moon dance on the water and listen to one of Laurents stories about how he lost his virginity to his history teacher.

Jason

Laurent and Lilly open the door into the room they believed was Maxwells office in the prison. It's empty and cold with a very advanced pc and communications devices.

"Why are we here again?" Tyler asks as they explore Jasons maniac fathers office.

"The team who was checking this place out found a lot of stuff about you and your family down here." Lilly says.

Jason looks up and shrugs.

"It's no secret Maxwell was obssed with us." He says

But Lillys face makes him frown.

"There's more to it than that. I was digging around here and I found this." Lilly turns the screen to Jason.

It's a video taken from the computer in his parent's office. On it there's Jared and Jenna talking about the key for the second half of the list. They start going on about bones and skeletons and cheer as they solve the key.

"Okay so it's alarming that Maxwell hacked his way into my parents computer but I already told you guys about the list." Jason says.

"This list, how many pages was it?" Laurent asks.

"I don't know a few." Tyler says.

Lilly types some stuff in and on the screen the same list his parents hid in the usb appears, but this time a whole 10 pages of names are added to it.

"Holy shit." Tyler says leaning towards the screen.

"How is this possible?" Jason asks.

"We think the list was always longer but it's been slip into pieces." Lilly says.
