Hold up, wasn't Octostomp defeated by Captain 3? How're they back all of a sudden? - Callie
This is something I don't know. It occurred after I had been freed from Octavio's grasp. I would've thought that you'd know why Octostomp is over there. - DJ_Hyperfresh
I don't, I was in charge of decoration and trying to make each area look nice along with commanding Octolings and Octarian forces on operations. Base defense was never my responsibility. Was there someone who inhabited the boss kettle before Octostomp? - Callie
Yes, it was a machine that I had made and I'm not comfortable explaining it. Octavio probably switched it for Octostomp when he noticed how I had made my own departure now that I think about it since he wouldn't have anyone to maintain it since I was spending time with adorable little Pearlie. - DJ_Hyperfresh
... Marina, please. - Callie
Sorry sorry. - DJ_Hyperfresh
You know, I might need to talk to Frye about something, I just noticed how the box she used when New Agent 3 had to fight her to investigate a signal that the Gramps-Tracker was picking up on where Gramps might've been located in Alterna sorta resembles Octostomp. - Callie
Anyway, on with the entry. - DJ_Hyperfresh
Date: August 4th, 2017
Agent 4 looks ready to face-off against the next boss and seemed even more ready because after lunch, they rushed straight to it. Just like with the Octo-Samurai and the Octo-Oven, the Zap Fish is hanging out in the open. After being issued their Hero Dualies, Agent 4 would approach the zap fish however, a tentacle appears and pulls the Zapfish down. What appears from amongst the lights however isn't the Octo-Oven or the Octo-Samurai coming back for revenge though.
She does know that the Octo-Samurai is probably dead, right? He won't stop fighting until either his foe is dead or he is dead. The same sort of determination I see in Pearlie! - DJ_Hyperfresh
Probably not, and if she did know, she wouldn't really care. - Callie
What appears instead is ... the Octostomp, surprisingly, it's baaaaaack! Octostomp starts this off by plowing right into Agent 4, which shatters Agent 4's hero suit but allows for Agent 4 to ink the tentacle on Octostomp's rear, as that's the weak point.
That's the ticket! Do that three more times and it's done for! - Callie
Something doesn't add up though. Why would Octavio want to use someone that had already been disposed of before... either Octavio decided to get as silly as Pearlie does sometimes or there's a surprise waiting for Agent 4. - DJ_Hyperfresh
Octostomp seems barely phased by that though and proceeds to ... grow a jacket to become "Neo Octostomp" which brought a coat.
Told ya. It just didn't add up at all. - DJ.Hyperfresh
This new coat made the sides of Neo Octostomp uninkable so Agent 4 couldn't just go for the sides like before. Neo Octostomp then uses a Splatling gun attack on Agent forcing them to dodge roll out of the way as they attempt to get in close. Neo Octostomp responds to Agent 4 moving in close by stomping on top of them, shattering their armor but Agent 4 just proceeds to ink the area around them while their hero suit repairs itself. Agent 4 starts shooting the buckle on Neo Octostomp once it gets up and their hero suit has been repaired but Neo Octostomp once again stomps on Agent 4, shattering their hero suit.
Ouch. - Callie
This happens 3 more times but each time Neo Octostomp got up, Agent 4 would deal more damage to the buckle until, presto. The coat has been undone, bringing Neo Octostomp back to being just Octostomp.
