Andi's POV

Andi and Jake have been seeing each other since Club Eden. She invited him over for dinner after work. She took a cooking class a year ago and is finally ready to see if she learned anything.

The phone rings.

"Hey Tima."

"Hey A, what you getting into today?

"I'm cooking," says Andi.

"What? You in the kitchen?" asks Fatima.

"You remember I took that cooking class? So, I know a little sum sum about the kitchen."

"Okay!! So, what are you cooking?"

"Well, I only have like 3 meals."

Fatima laughs.

Andi says, "I'm making chicken parmesan alfredo and garlic toast."

"Sounds good, let me know how it goes. Bye chica."

"Alright bye."

Twenty minutes later Jake shows up. They eat, laugh, and then watch The Best Man: Final Chapter. A little before 11 pm he goes home. The date was nice. Jake has been such a gentleman.

Fatima and Lori

Fatima called up Lori to see what she was up to.

"Hey Lor, what you got going on this Saturday evening?"

"Nothing much. I'm just leaving the salon. I had a client this morning." says Lori.

"You want to go to the mall?" asks Fatima.

"Yeah, meet me at my house. I need to shower and change clothes. I smell like a relaxer and burnt hair." Lori laughs.

"Girl you a trip. Ok, I'll be there shortly."

They get to the mall.

Fatima buys a few work suits and dresses.

"If you see something you like get it and I will pay for it," says Fatima.

"Aww, friend you're so nice." Lori jokes.

"I'm just in a good mood right now."

As they were checking out. They ran into Ian's mom.

"Hey Fatima," said Ms. Walts.

"I know you and my son aren't together anymore, but you could come to visit me sometimes."

"My apology. I didn't want things to get weird. Ian told me about your illness though. I was going to call you.

"Illness. What illness?" Ms. Walts is confused.

Fatima mumbles. "That old lying bastard."

"Well nice seeing you Ms. Walts." Lori grabbed Fatima's arm to leave. "Let's go."

"Alright, I will talk to you later." Says Fatima.

"Stop by sometime," said Ms. Walts.

Fatima and Lori leave.

"Ooh! I can't believe his sorry ass lied about his mother like that." Fatima said in total shock.

"Yeah, that nigga has lost it." Says Lori.

" I can't wait to move so he won't know where I live," Fatima says.

"Thank you for the outfit. Love you, girl.

"Love you too Lor," Fatima says as she drives them home.
