The next morning Zac wakes up in bed alone. He opens the bedroom door and smells bacon. He runs into the bathroom to take a shower and get ready for the workday.
15 minutes later he is dressed and heads to the kitchen where Fatima is.
"Good morning, gorgeous." Zac kisses Fatima on the cheek.
"Good morning, I made a little breakfast. Bacon, cheese eggs, and toast."
"Thank you, babe."
"I figured after that awesome love-making session you gave me last night. Shoot this the least I could do."
Zac winks. "It was good, wasn't it?"
"Yes," Fatima says with a smirk. "Do you know you told me you loved me last night?"
"Yes, I remember. Did I freak you out by saying it?"
"Umm, no. It felt good to hear."
"Well, good because I meant it."
"Do you want coffee or orange juice?" asks Fatima.
"I'll take OJ."
They sit down and eat breakfast.
"Do you have a busy day today?" Asks Fatima.
"I have two showings. And you?"
"I think I have few meetings so far."
"Will I be able to see you for lunch or after work?"
"I'm not sure. Give me a call and we will play it by ear."
"Cool. I'm about to head out. Thanks for breakfast." Zac gives Fatima a kiss and leaves for work. "Have a good day."
Fatima's POV
Fatima and Andi pull into the parking lot at the same time.
Fatima checks her face and makeup then gets out of the car.
"Good morning my friend." Fatima greets Andi."
"Good morning, look at you. Someone is glowing this morning." Andi says.
"Really?"
"Yes. Did you get some of the D last night?"
Fatima is cheesing hard. "I did. Girl, he made love to my mind, body, and soul."
"Ooh, Friend. I am so happy for you."
"Thank you. He also told me he loved me, and not that I'll tell you anything during sex, but it was after."
"Oh, so he meant that shit."
They enter the office, so they stop talking.
"We'll talk later," says Fatima. "Good morning, Muri."
"Good morning, Fatima, and Andi." greets Muri.
"Good morning," says Andi.
"Do I have anything scheduled today?" asks Fatima.
"You have the staff meeting at 10:00 and then a meeting at 11, 1, and 3."
"Ok. Thanks, could you just send them over to me?"
Fatima goes to her office and texts Zac.
Fatima: Hey. I have back-to-back meetings today just in case you can't reach me. I promise you I'm not ghosting you. 😘
Zac: No problem, I think I will be having a long day myself. I will call you tonight. Take it easy 😘
Fatima: Talk to you later.
Fatima starts her work.
Zac's POV
Man, I can't believe I told her I love her already. Zac says to himself.
Jake interrupts him. "You told who you love them?"
"Man can you knock?" asks Zac.
"Sorry. Did you tell Fatima you loved her?"
"Yes, I did."
"Wow! You guys are getting serious."
"Yeah man, we are. You need me for something?"
"Can you take this client for me today?"
"Sure man."
"Thanks," says Jake.
Zac starts looking at his emails when his phone rings.
"Hello, this is Zac speaking."
"Hey, Zac. This is Karen."
