NORA'S POV

"Can we not go home?"

He turns around. He tilts his head and rolls his eyes.

"Come on, I know a place. Don't be a bore."

He looks at me and then quickly looks away.

He mutters something incoherent under his breath.

"Is that a yes? Whatever. It's not like I am gonna wait for you to say 'yes'."

He rolls his eyes.

.................................................................

"This is the place you know." He frowns.

"Is there a problem?" I raise a eyebrow. You can't hate this place. Hell, even I couldn't hate it.

"This is a private beach."

"And? This is the best place to escape. No one would recognise you and you won't be uncomfortable too."

He stares at me.

"What? What is more beautiful than sunset? I don't think anything is more beautiful and relaxing than sunset."

"Whatever."

"Let's go. I know a spot."

That's what she said. Bye.

"Where are you taking me? Are you kidnapping me?"

"Why would I destroy my peace?" I laugh. He glares at me and I laugh more.

It's the first time in a day that I have laughed. It feels good.

I remove my sandals and dip my feet in the water. The sky has taken the colour mix of orange-red.

The sound of waves is like music to my ears. The cool breeze tingling my skin making my nerves calm. This is relaxing. This is so relaxing that I might actually cry.

When I turn around, he is just standing there. He looks confused.

I chuckle. He looks cute when confused.

Wait.....What? Am I going crazy? Why do I think that he is cute?

He is not cute. God!! Snap out of it, woman.

I walk towards him and plop down to sit on the sand.

It's sunset time. My favourite time of the day. It reminds me that all those worries, problems, fears and insecurities will set and happiness will rise again.

Sun sets so that it can rise again. A person falls so that they can rise again.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"

"Hmm."

I turn my head towards him and catch him staring at me.

I look away and ignore the stupid butterflies erupting in my belly.

We sit there basking in the sun setting and getting warmed with the silence. I never felt peace like this ever before.
