NORA'S POV

"Why aren't you wearing a jacket?" He is frowning.

"I was in a rush. I forgot about it." I make a face.

I forgot that it is going to be cold. I was worrying more about missing the game than being cold.

He removes his jacket and hands it over. His eyes saying 'wear it'.

I struggle with the jacket and he helps me with it. He pulls me closer to him. His chest brushing against my breast. My breath hitches. His hazel eyes lighten up and I am in love with those eyes. I can't stop smiling.

I have never been this so sick. I mean most of the times I used to be grumpy but now I can't stop smiling. What's happening to me?

I couldn't resist him so I give him a peck on his lips. His eyes widen and I laugh. He looks like a puppy.

Or should I say pretend to struggle with jacket. I smile. My heart can't seem to calm down whenever he is around. It lights up like firecrackers and he is the reason behind it.

He grabs my waist and pushes me more towards him.

"Did you miss me? Cause I couldn't stop thinking about when I could see you or hear your voice."

My heart thumps against my chest.

I look away but I feel his fingers graze my jaw and he hooks his fingers under my jaw and forces me to look at him.

My face and my neck is red. Shit, why is it suddenly so hot? Is it the jacket or him? Or the tension?

It is certainly him.

"Let me just think." I close my eyes which makes it seem that I am thinking.

I open my eyes and give him my most mischievous grin.

"No, I had fun without you. Ira and I had a great girls night." I grin.

He nods and raises a eyebrow.

"We had strippers too."

He starts coughing. I start laughing and gently pat his back.

"You okay?"

He steadies himself and glares at me but it makes me laugh more harder.

He leans forward and my smile vanishes and my heart beats louder against my chest. I hope he doesn't hear it.

"Don't make me bend you and smack that attitude of yours, Nora." He whispers in my ear. I flinch.

My eyes widen and I gasp. My jaw drops. My ears turn red.

Holy Mackerel!!! This is something straight out of my favourite smut book.

I turn around to check if the bodyguards heard him. But no, they are staring straight at the wall.

I smack his back.

"You are not supposed to say these things out loud, Kai." I whisper yell at him.

I cover my face in embarrassment. God!!! This man is gonna be the death of me someday.
