(TW : Accident, mention of blood, panic attack)
NORA'S POV

"Mi bebé lo hizo. Estoy muy orgullosa de ti." (My baby did it. I am so proud of you. )

"Papá, he ganado. He ganado. He ganado." (Papa, I won. I won. I won.)

"Me alegro mucho. Mamá también se pondrá muy contenta cuando sepa que has ganado." (I am so happy. Mom is gonna be very happy to when she hears that you won.)

"Mentiras. Mamá nunca puede ser feliz."
(Lies. Mama can never be happy.)

He pats my head like I am a dog. But who cares, I like it. I love it when he does that.

"Mamá te quiere mucho, ya lo sabes."
(Mama loves you a lot, you know that.)

"No más de lo que quiere a Nathaniel. Pero te tengo a ti." (Not more than she loves Nathaniel. But I have you.)

"Vámonos. Ella debe estar esperando."(Let's go. She must be waiting.)

"Vámonos. Vámonos." (Let's go. Let's go.)

We get in the car. And Papa starts the radio. We sing together in a most inharmonious tune but our hearts are content.

"Papá, ten cuidado al conducir". (Papa, be careful while driving.)

"Sí, mi hija." (Yes, my daughter.)

We smile at each other. I have never seen Papa so happy. I will sacrifice anything and everything to see him smile and laugh like that.

A loud sound of crash, sound of glass breaking and I could hear myself screaming and Papa trying to calm me down.

When I woke up, everything is hurting. My head is hurting. I slowly check myself.

Blood, everywhere.

It's difficult to even breathe. I can't move my body. I close my eyes trying to calm down.

Papa!!! My eyes open and when I turn to his side, he is unconscious.

My hands are shivering. I try to take deep breaths. I take my hand near his pulse and try to find out.

I can't feel his pulse.

No!! No!! No!! No!!! This can't be happening.

"Papa!! Papa!! Wake up!!"

I need to get out of here so I can get help for Papa.

I try to move my body but it's too painful.

Deep breaths, Nora!!! Deep breaths, Nora!!

I try to take off my seatbelt but it's stuck. I need something sharp to cut it off.

I pick up a broken glass and cut the seatbelt.

"No te preocupes, papá. Espérame. Volveré con ayuda." (Don't worry, papa. Wait for me. I will come back with help.)

I get out of the car and try to walk but I can't. I can't walk.

There is no one. No one around here.

"Help!!! Help!! Somebody help!! Please!! My papa needs help!!! We need help!"

I stumble and fall. I cry and scream.

I need to save him. I need to save him.

And darkness fell over.
