Millicent didn't want to go into work that next day. She knew she'd have to face Tommy and the awkwardness she left them in last night. "Grace, I feel sick!" Millicent shouted. "And I'm the queen" Grace said from the doorframe. "Grace, I am not going to the Garrison" Millicent said. "Milly, you have to. Come on, get up" Grace said, walking over. She tugged at her sister to the point where she was sat up. "Come on we're going to be late" Grace said. "I don't want to go, it's going to be hell for both of us"  Millicent said. "I'm going to assume you're talking about Tommy and you" Grace said. "No, I'm talking about me and you" Millicent said.

"Milly, get up and get dressed" Grace said, leaving the room. Millicent sighed and got out of bed. She walked over to her dresser and got dressed. "That wasn't so hard now was it?" Grace joked. "I'd rather walk on glass, barefoot" Millicent said, walking out of her room. "Little dramatic don't you think?" Grace asked, sliding her a cup of tea. Millicent looked at it for a minute before saying, "I will not do this sober." She walked toward the fridge and got beer out. "Millicent Allison Burgess are you for real?" Grace asked. "Either I go in with a drink in me, or I don't go in at all. You pick" Millicent said before taking another drink from the bottle.

"Alright fine, let's go" Grace said. "At least let me finish it" Millicent said. Grace walked over and took the bottle out of her hand, she then proceeded to pour the beer down the drain. "You bitch" Millicent said. "Let's go" Grace said, taking Millicent's arm and dragged her out of the house. "I hate you, you know that?" Millicent said. "Who could hate me?" Grace asked. "Me" Millicent said. Grace rolled her eyes and then Millicent heard a voice behind them. "Morning ladies." It was Arthur. "Morning, you're in a good mood" Millicent said. "Yeah, I am. See you at the Garisson" Arthur said. He walked on in front of them and the girls gave each other a look of confusion.

They reached the Garrison and Millicent did not want to go in. "Uhm Grace, there's something you should know" Millicent said. "Which is?" Grace asked. "What would you say if I told you me and Tommy fucked? Well not fucked but kissed, like a lot" Millicent said. "I'd say I need to wash my fucking ears out, with bleach" Grace said. "That's being dramatic" Millicent said. Grace opened the door and didn't say a word to Millicent. "Oh for fuck sake, she's so dramatic" Millicent said to herself. She hung her coat up on the stand and started to work. "Milly" Tommy said. "Shoot me" Millicent said. "Look, I'm sorry about last night, I didn't know" Tommy said.

"Paige! Come and serve this man!" Millicent shouted. "Paige is here?" Tommy asked. "Why? You looking to fuck her too?" Millicent asked. "What, no. Arthur will be happy to hear Paige is here" Tommy said, "Harry, I need to borrow Millicent"  Tommy said. "What?" Millicent asked. "Take her, but make it quick" Harry said. "Come on Milly"  Tommy said. "I'm not moving, you can go fuck yourself" Millicent said. Tommy walked around the bar, grabbed Millicent by the waist and carried her outside. "Thomas fucking Shelby put me down" Millicent said, hitting his back repeatedly.

Tommy walked outside and set her down. "What the fuck was that?"  Millicent asked. "Milly, I know you aren't going to talk to me so this is the only fucking thing I can do. force it out of you" Tommy said. "There's nothing to talk about" Millicent said, "You got a girl pregnant." "We aren't even together so why do you care so much?" Tommy asked. "Because-" Millicent started. "Because?" Tommy asked. "I don't know" Millicent said. "Milly talk to me" Tommy said, placing his hand on her cheek. "Because I love you" Millicent said, "And I shouldn't but I do. You kept me wondering if you loved me back and after last night I don't know anymore." Tommy felt really bad now knowing this.
