chapter twenty eight, Scandal

After the events of the previous night with Tommy and Milly, the morning of the wedding arrived. Everyone was arriving gradually at the church. Khloè didn't think she would have more than one kid after Calvin but here she was, Michael holding Calvin and then Khloè holding a baby girl.

"There she is" Arthur smiled, looking down at the baby girl as she giggled at him. "Hello Niamh" Paige said, smiling at her. "We better get in before people start to think you four got killed" John joked. They all walked in behind John and Arthur gave Paige a kiss on the cheek before walking off to the altar beside Tommy.

"This is the first time we're seeing Milly's family" Paige said. "Why's there so many of them?" Khloè asked. "Fuck knows" Michael said. Children were going around the isles, handing out the words to the songs that would be sang. Arthur caught sight of Paige and sent her a wink to which she replied with a smile. The bell noises were getting irritating for Khloè really fast, "oh my god do they ever stop" Khloè sighed.

"They'll stop when Grace gets here" Paige said. "Well she better hurry her ass up. Most of us don't wanna be here" Khloè said. Michael tried not to laugh at that remark made by his wife. Jeremiah comes walking up the altar with his bible, ready to minister this wedding.

As "in the bleak midwinter" was playing, the bells stopped. "Thank fuck for that" Khloè sighed. "Holy shit you came" Paige said as Milly stood beside her. "Can hardly stay home so here I am" Milly said, James standing beside her. "Oh my god, she actually brought him" Khloè said. The tune changed as Grace entered the chapel. "Oh kill me now" Khloè said. Paige nudged her shoulder as Grace entered. She walked up the isle and Khloè was giving her dirty looks.

"Can we go now? Please?" Khloè whispered. "You weren't like this at Paige's wedding" Michael said in a low voice. "Yeah, well I actually like Paige" Khloè said, earning a silent chuckle from Paige and Milly. Tommy catches sight of James with Milly and his expression drops slightly to a more jealous look. He rolls his eyes and looks back to Grace approaching him. "Here come the fucking cavalry, late as usual" John said, clearing his throat as Khloè laughed quietly.

When Grace finally joined Tommy at the altar, Khloè sighed. "One step in the right direction" Khloè said, clearing her throat. The music stopped and the ceremony began. As Jeremiah started the ceremony, Khloè was thanking god because he'd talk fast and get her the fuck out of there, Milly as well.

When Tommy said I do, Milly let out a sigh. She knew full well that this was signed and sealed and that Tommy wasn't having second thoughts. Well not anymore at least... "I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride" Jeremiah said. Tommy took Grace firmly in his hands to send Milly the message that he was serious about this. After they kissed, Khloè clapped so hard, her hands began to sting. "Thank fuck, we can go and get food now" Khloè said.

"There's still a photo to take" Paige said. "Ugh no" Khloè wined. Arthur was trying his best to get everyone is position for the photo and it was hectic. Khloè looked over for a split second and saw a woman she recognised. She turned again and her eyes widened. "You okay Khlo?" Michael asked. "Yeah" Khloè said, not facing him. "You sure?" Michael asked. "Mhm" Khloè nodded, looking back at Michael. Tommy saw who it was too as him and Grace walked to the carriage.

"Come on, let's go get you fed eh?" Michael suggested, nudging her shoulder. "Get them bastards in the house" Tommy said in a low tone to Johnny dogs. "Will do Tom. John! Khloè!" Johnny shouted, helping Tommy into the carriage. "Go on all of you back to the house come on!" Arthur shouts, waving his arms away from the chapel as everyone cheers when Tommy and Grace ride off, well... everyone expect for Milly.
