Chapter six, Khloè

"Tell me that's the alcohol" Milly said, Looking at Arthur for support but Arthur didn't know what he could say. "You fucking dick" Milly said, heading for the door but Tommy grabbed her arm. "Let go of me!" Millicent shouted, "you're a fucking whore!" Tears began to form in her eyes

"Milly" Tommy said. "Is that all you can say? Milly?" She asked. Tommy stayed quiet. "You're unbelievable" Millicent said in disbelief. Millicent broke out of Tommy's grasp and opened the Garrison door. "Tommy" Arthur said, as Tommy was about to go after her, "let her go."

Millicent began to run back to the Shelby house. As she caught her breath, she went into the house and saw the girls in the front room. "There you are" Paige said, "where were you?" "Has Tommy told you anything more?" Polly asked. "He told me he slept with my sister" Milly said. "Oh Milly" Paige said as her voice trailed off. She could see Arthur approaching the house.

"What has Tommy said?" Polly asked, blocking out Arthur. "Outside now" Paige said, grabbing the back of Arthur's coat. Arthur was dragged outside into the snowy weather whilst Polly consoled Millicent. "What happened?" Paige asked. "Polly came in with Milly behind her and Tommy was the one that got Freddie arrested. Then he slipped up and said he slept with Grace"  Arthur said. "That's it. Are you sure that's all that happened?" Paige asked. "Paige, I was there" Arthur said, grabbing her arms.

"Milly told me" Paige said. "Told you what?" Arthur asked. "About how you feel. She told me how you felt about me" Paige said. Arthur stood speechless, his heart was racing. "I could tell on the first night, no man would ever offer a stranger his coat or to walk them home" Paige said with a smirk. "So you knew?" Arthur asked.

"Of course I knew. All of the blinders knew too. You are shit at saying you're not in love when really you are" Paige said. "Why didn't you tell me?" Arthur asked. "I did try to hint it, the date? That was your hint" Paige said. "So? What do you think?" Arthur asked.

"About?" Paige asked. "Are you being serious?" Arthur asked. "I'm joking you big soft ball" Paige said, beginning to laugh, "obviously I know what you're on about." "So?" Arthur asked. "If you're ready then, so am I" Paige said. Arthur pulled her in for a kiss and he felt like he accomplished something, finally.

"Oh fuck" Paige said, checking her watch. "It's eleven" Paige said. "So?" Arthur asked. "I told my dad I'd be back by ten" Paige said. She gave Arthur a last kiss and they walked back into the house. "Paige?" Millicent asked. "Yes?" Paige asked. "Could I stay at your house tonight? If I go home, I'll have to see Grace" Millicent said.

"Of course" Paige said, "I'm heading now if you're coming" Paige said. Millicent got up out of the armchair she was sat in and walked out the door. "Bye" Paige said, giving Arthur's cheek a kiss. She closed the door and Polly looked at Arthur.

"What?" Arthur asked. "What was that about?" Polly asked, refusing to make eye contact with him. "It was a friendly kiss" Arthur said. "Like i didn't see you two snogging out there a second ago" Polly said.

"Fuck off Pol" Arthur said, "when's your brother coming home?"Polly asked. "Don't know" Arthur said. Just then Tommy appeared at the door frame. "You are fucked" Arthur said, passing Tommy. Tommy let out a sigh and he looked at Polly.
