I numbly made my way to the Ravenclaw tower, it's been a long night I just want to lay down in my comfy bed and try to get some rest. I kept my head down as I walk. Big Mistake. I hit my head against a wall, a warm wall...with shoes. What the hell.
I looked up to find a very tall guy, with brown shaggy hair, beautiful amber eyes, and scars that ran across his face.
Remus Lupin. Merlin, this man is beautiful!
He seemed flustered, that's when I noticed he was talking.
"Oh Merlin, I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going, you ok?" he asks. He has this combination of a Welsh and English accent.
I nod "yeah i'm fine, I wasn't really looking either." I say, he relaxed a little at my words.
"Why are you wandering the halls after curfew?" he asks, he seemed more curious than accusing. I looked at him cautiously.
"Why are you?" My words came out a bit harsher than I intended, but he didn't seem to mind. He just pointed to his robes where a prefect badge stood proudly against the black and red robes. "Oh"
He was waiting for my answer. "I went to the kitchen to make these" I say holding up the container with the cannolis. He looks at the container curiously. "What are they?" he asks.
"Cannolis, it's a family recipe" I say, holding out the container for him to grab. He takes it and opens it. "There's chocolate, classic, and caramel filling" I explain.
"Chocolate you say?" He looks like he's about to eat the whole thing, container and all.
I nod, "you can take them if you want, I wasn't gonna eat them anyway" I say, he looks up slightly eager but skeptical. "I promise I didn't poison them or anything of the sort, I just don't want them to go to waste and you look ready to devour them."
he gave me a sheepish smile, and man I didn't think he could get more handsome! I stand corrected. "if you don't mind" he says. I just smile and shrug, "they're all yours" I say.
He smiles at me with that breath taking smile. "Thanks, I'm sure my mates will love these" I nod at him and keep walking. I hear shuffling and when I look, he's walking next to me.
He must have seen my confusion because he starts explaining "I just thought I'd accompany you to your common room, It's late and you shouldn't walk the corridors alone" He turned to me wide eyed. "not that I don't think you can't handle yourself, I-I'm sure you can. If you want me to leave, I-I can leave, don't wanna make you uncomfortable o-or anything." he spluttered. His eyes frantic and a bright red blush ran over his cheeks.
I sniggered at him and put my hand on his shoulder. "It's alright, you can walk with me." I said. He let out a relieved breath and smiled coyly at me.
We walking in silence for a little while before he broke the silence. "so...who taught you how to make these?" he asks, motioning to the cannolis.
My face formed a smile before I even knew it, "My mom, she learned how to do them for my dad." my voice was nostalgic.
Remus tilted his head in curiosity.
"My dad is Italian, My mom is Colombian. She liked to cook meals from both of their countries, said it kept their cultures alive, and when I was growing up she started to teach me the recipes." I explained.
He looked surprised but then nodded "That explains your accent, I couldn't quite place it." he said, then shrugged "must be a mixture"
I looked at him slightly offended. "I don't have an accent" I said. He chuckled a bit and put his hands in the air as mock surrender.
We kept walking, me mumbling about how I didn't have an accent and he was just hearing things, and him chuckling about it.
We eventually reached the door to my common room and I turned to him. "I sincerely appreciate your act of chivalry, Kind sir" I spoke with an exaggerated posh accent, before grabbing the sides of my oversized cardigan and curtseying like a lady.
Remus looked at me amused before putting on a serious face. "It was my absolute pleasure, My Lady" He said in the same posh accent as me, he bowed before standing in his full height and sending me a tiny smile.
I answered the riddle to the common room but before I could go in he stopped me.
"Hey! I didn't catch your name" he rushed, keeping his voice down to not attract attention from the sleeping Ravenclaws.
