Delilah was sleeping soundly on the couch while I played exploding snap with Moony. She has been sleeping for quite some time, at first I was worried something was wrong but then I saw her chest moving up and down and I relaxed.
"Fuck!" Moony whisper-yelled when a card exploded moments before he touched it.
He glared at the remaining of the card and I had to hide my mouth on my knee to keep from laughing at the mad expression on his face.
Moony glared up at me, "It's not fucking funny, Prongs"
I fixed my face to stay serious but a smile still passed though, "Swearwolf"
He glared harder and was about to snark back when the entrance of the common room opened forcefully and an agitated Regulus followed by an out of breath Sirius and a confused Barty all rushed in.
Regulus didn't bother acknowledging us, he went straight to Delilah and took a relieved breath when he saw her.
I stood and walked over to the other two, Moony following behind me, "What happened?" I asked.
Barty shrugged, "Im as confused as you are"
Sirius panted while he leaned on the wall for a few seconds before he stood straight and took a deep breath, "That disrespectful little fucker" He glared in Regulus's direction. "Took off running out of nowhere while we were in the middle of a conversation"
Regulus stared at her for a second more before he walked over to us, eyes somber as he dressed us. "Do not let her walk out of this common room, at least not alone"
Barty's shifted from confused to alert instantly, "What's wrong?"
Regulus only stared into his eyes intensely, not muttering a single word. Barty's eyes widened slightly before he tiled his head in question. Regulus nodded once and Barty squared his shoulder, his stance more protective.
Barty ran a hand though his hair, taking a sharp breath, "Fuck". He stared at regulus, clearly agitated. "What do we do?"
Moony cleared his throat and looked between the two, "How about telling the other ones that don't share the telepathic bond?"
Regulus closed his eyes and rubbed his temples in irritation, "Her father's here"
Padfoot scoffed, "All this drama just because her dad is here" He said, "Godric, you'd think the man is You-Know-Who himself with the way you're acting"
Regulus eyes were frighteningly cold when he opened them again, looking at his brother intently. "Don't"
Padfoot glared back, "So her and her father don't get along, big deal. She could just ignore him."
