It's officially October 31, some first years are wearing costumes and walking around to the professors asking for candy. A girl dressed as a fairy was munching on her candy, and was strangely being followed by a giant black dog.
What the Hell?
The girl finally notices the Dog and screeches running away, she dropped her candy. I walked towards the dog who was now sniffing the candy, the beast of a dog noticed me and stilled.
When I finally stood next to him...or her I noticed how actually massive it was, it reached up to my hip, it could honestly be a tiny horse.
I reached my hand to his snout so he could familiarize himself to me, he sniffed once and looked up at me. Thinking it was ok, I put my hand behind his ears and pet him. He seems to like that since he practically melted into my palm.
Is he from the forbidden forest? why is there a dog in the middle of the courtyard in a random Saturday?
I bent down to grab the candy and headed towards the big oak tree I usually sit at, the dog was happily following me. Once I sat down the dog's fluffy face was right next to mine, I patted the spot next to me and he layed down with his head on my lap.
I patted him with curiosity, "Where do you come from?"
The dog lifted his eyes to look at me and then turned his head to the castle, "The castle?" I asked.
He nodded his head, which was incredibly strange for a dog. "Is your owner in there?"
He shook his head, "Are you lost then?" another shake of the head.
"Do you have a name?" he only stared at me. "I'll give you one"
He placed his head back down. "Milo?"
He huffed.
"Rocky?"
Another huff.
"Castor?"
He growled.
"Alright, buddy, listen up. You need to cooperate with me" I scolded him, "At this rate, we will never find a name you like"
He whined and covered his eyes with his paws.
"Im sorry, I din't mean to make you sad" I sighed.
The Dog took his paws off his eyes and rested them on my lap. "I'll call you snuffles and there's nothing you can do about it" I informed him.
Snuffled huffed before licking my hand. I laughed and laid down next ho him as he laid his head on my stomach, I closed my eyes and relaxed.
I slowly drifted off with the sound of the giant squid splashing in the distance lulling me to sleep.
