Delilah Pierce didn't have the best home life, and when in school she tended to blend in with the crowd. She didn't mind it though, she was perfectly content with her 2 friends and her brother.
But what happens when she comes back to her six year a...

The day went by and there were no more weird cryptic messages from Dumbledore, thankfully. I had most of my classes with the Hufflepuffs which was good, they really live up to their house, they were really nice. I'm currently in my free period since I took an extra class last year - Arithmancy was such a pain in the ass.
I found myself walking to that same tree I was at this morning, I sat down and took out my book, I was almost done with it. I was two chapters in when I heard a sigh and a mumbled "fuck" behind me.
Turning my head and seeing no one I decided to round the tree, I stand up and take cautious steps to my right, I see two long trouser covered legs stretched out on the grass and halt. A boy.
What am I doing? What if the boy want to be alone? should I ask if they're alright?
I'll ask
"Um hey? are you alright?" I ask hesitantly. I still can't see him completely but I see his legs shift.
"Delilah?"
"Remus?"
Remus Lupin peeks out from behind the tree and I see a sad look on his face that he tries to mask. "Hey, what are you doing out here?" he stands and we both walk to my side of the tree where my abandoned book is.
I sit and he follows. "I was reading this book, I had a free period" I reply.
He leans over "Pride and Prejudice? It's a great book."
I nod "Yeah, i'm actually almost done with it."
Moments pass where he's just staring at the lake but then I hear his sigh again and I put down my book and turn to him. "Alright Lupin, out with it."
He looks startled for a second but then he looked at my anticipating expression and closes his eyes taking a deep breath "Are you sure you want to hear this?"
I just raise an eye brow.
"Alright, listen if you don't want to be friends after this I understand. just please don't tell anyone" Ok he's definitely got my attention.
"Ever since Third year started, all guys do is talk about girls. what they wear, how they look, and other...things. I've never really thought about that stuff, and when the boys would mention a girl I would never really understand what they felt" His voice was shaky and his breathing was getting harsher, so I grabbed his hand gave him a reassuring smile.
After taking a deep breath he continued. "The guys started dating girls, and kissing, and all of that, which I didn't mind much, I just wasn't really interested in doing the same thing. Last year I tried dating and other...stuff which was ok, I guess. It just never gave me that feeling my friends were talking about. it just all felt dull in a way." He looked at me to read my expression but my face was relaxed, no sings of judgement seen.
