Inasikaso ko muna si Forest bago ko sadyain si Rare sa kwarto nya na may dalang mainit na gatas. This is my only way for me to talk to Rare because i really feel the need of confrontating her about what she did this dinner in front of Forest.

Rare totally crossed the line.

I don't know kung hanggang kailan nya ako itotorture  sa sarili kong bahay at kung bakit nya ito ginagawa sakin.

Dahil ba niloko at nasaktan ko sya?

Paano kung mahuli kami ni Forest? Gosh, I can't imagine what Forest can do. Siguradong maghahalo ang balat sa tinalupan.

Kumatok ako sa pintuan ng kwarto ni Rare but she's not answering.

"Rare?" At isa pang tawag.

Wala talagang sumasagot.

I'm pretty sure she's inside dahil bukas ang ilaw at hindi naman sya umalis ng bahay. Kaya naisip kong pumasok nalang——maingat kong binuksan ang pintuan and found her sitting on the bed busy working on her laptop with headphones on.

Kaya pala hindi ako naririnig.

And as if she feels someone's presence at patingin  sya sakin sabay ngiti. "Scarlett.." Iba talaga ang ningning ng mga mata nya kapag sinasambit ang pangalan ko. "Nandito ka pala." Inalis nya ang headphones sa tenga nya. " Kanina ka pa?"

Wow, as if she didn't do anything naughty kung makapagtanong ah? Parang hindi nya ako tinorture sa ilalim ng lamesa kanina.

"Ngayon lang." Sagot ko at lumapit sa kanya. "Gatas before you go to bed."

Rare smiles grew bigger. "Thank you."

Niilapag ang baso ko ang gatas sa bedside table. "Are you busy?"

"Medyo." Sagot ni Rare sabay inat ng mga braso nya.

Nakita ko na may tinatype sya sa MS Word at binasa ito. "Tumour Accommodation..."

I almost forgot that Rare is taking oncology and graduating this year. Like, wow. Oncology is one of difficult course. A dying field as they said.

"Ah yes, the Importance of the Niche in Neurological Tumors." Paliwanag nya.

"Interesting." Naimpressed naman ako.

"But I know hindi lang yan ang pinunta mo dito."

Natawa ako. "Right. About this dinner—"

"I'm sorry.." not really sorry. She says under her teeth. I almost couldn't hear it but still though.

"What did you just said?" Gusto ko I confirm ang narinig ko.

But Rare is very good in hiding emotions and pretending. "Sorry——I'm sorry."

Pero yong itsura ni Rare ay hindi mukhang sorry.

Huminga ako ng malalim habang nagtitigan kami ni Rare. "You shouldn't do that because Forest is here."

"Oh.." Rare face lit up. "So we can do it kapag wala sya?"

"Rare." Matigas ko na pagtawag sa pangalan nya. "Hindi ako nakikipagbiruan. Your action is uncalled for——it's very wrong."

Tumango sya at binalik ang atensyon sa laptop. "Yeah, a mistake. Bwiset kasi tong kamay na to." Biglang bumigat ang paligid. "I really hate this feeling.... The urge to touch you. I just can't to get enough of you Scarlett."

For a moment she have me speechless."Rare.."

"I know very well this will happen bago ko pa pirmahan yong contract for surrogacy..." She sounds very regretful. "But i needed the money."
