'What the hell happened?' Hotch called out in your direction. You were sat in the back of an ambulance getting checked out, much against your will, by a paramedic. Rossi was having his chest checked out by another paramedic, and Emily and Reid were both stood near you. You all turned your attention to the rest of the team as they headed towards you. None of you had the energy to answer Hotch.
'Rossi?' Hotch looked for an answer, moving his attention around everyone in the group. 'Reid?' He asked, as his eyes dropped down to the blood over Reid's knuckles. His eyes flicked over to you. 'Y/l/n?' He noticed how pale you were. Emily, noticing she was the only one not injured somehow, turned around properly to answer Hotch.
'Wood must have convinced the victim to commit suicide by cop. She fired at us. A lot.' Emily started.
'And?' Hotch cut in, prompting Emily to hurry up and explain.
'David was hit in the vest...' she turned and pointed in his direction, '...They're just checking him over now. Y/n...' she paused, not sure how to explain what happened with you.
'Y/l/n?' Hotch walked towards you.
'I just lost my footing. I got a little dizzy I guess.' You replied. Hotch turned to the paramedic, prompting him to confirm your story.
'Their blood sugar's super low. I suspect they're a little dehydrated too.' He said, bringing you a bottle of water and a cup of orange juice. To prevent the group from thinking into it even more than they clearly already were, you drank the orange juice and then started opening the bottle of water to drink some of that too. You still felt weak, and a little nauseous.
'Can you explain that?' Hotch asked you. You looked up at him and then quickly snuck a glance at Emily, whose attention was still on you. You shook your head.
Hotch lingered in front of you, before sensing that you'd probably explain more if the rest of the group wasn't there. He turned his attention over to Reid, walking over to him. He lifted Reid's hand up to inspect it, before lowering it back down to his side again.
'Get this bandaged up.' He ordered, before leaving you all as he went to inspect the scene.

Back at the Police Department, Hotch asked to see you. You met him in the Sheriff's office for some privacy, shutting the door behind you.
'What happened with you out there?' He asked, hoping to get some clarification.
'Look, I didn't get chance to get breakfast this morning before we caught the break in the case.' You explained.
'And the dehydration?' He asked, raising an eyebrow at you.
Why do I feel like a suspect right now?
'I need to take better care of myself. I know.' You said, suddenly feeling so tired from all the explaining.
'How are you feeling now?' Hotch asked.
'I feel fine now. I just needed something to eat and drink.' You replied. When you got back, you made sure to find something small to eat in front of Emily. It was your idea; you didn't want to feel like that again. But if you hadn't have done it by yourself, you knew Emily would have forced you to.
So much for convincing her I was fine.
'Are you fit enough to work?' Hotch asked seriously.
'Yes.' You said, making sure there wasn't a single quiver in your answer to suggest otherwise. Hotch scanned your face, noticing your colour had returned to normal.
