Ch 4: are you willing to help out an old friend?

REDSONS POV: I was looking for macaque since he was normally at the house... 'he would know what to do him and wukong were starting to hang out again, they were on okay terms now and I'm pretty sure that macaque still has a thing for wukong-' my thoughts were cut short as i saw the shadow demon i was looking for, he was on his phone, sitting on the couch in the living room "MACAQUE!" I screamed running towards him before plopping down next to him on the couch "what's up red?" Macaque asked placing his phone down "Well if you haven't heard already Isavedthatpeasantwhatshisnameandknowhesinmybedroomrecoveringandhiscrappymentorwukongis-" "I'm gonna stop you right there kid you're spiraling." Macaque said placing his hand over my mouth "now what was that about having Mk in your room I thought you hadn't seen him in like forever." He uncovered my mouth, placing his hand back down "I haven't seen him! It's just yesterday I found him in the forest all bruised and hurt, so I brought him here because... because..." "you realized that your emotions for him are still in there?" Macaque smirked pointing to my heart "WHAT?! NO!" I blushed "it's just that... can't I just tell you what happened?!" "Oh yeah sure bud I'm listening." "Okay but just so your aware it's about wukong as well." I muddered quietly "pffft! what about wukong?!" He chuckled obviously not caring about that golden haired monkey "he's gone." "What you mean by that?" Macaque said his snarkiness dropping into curiosity I sighed and explained the story once again but this time with every little detail I had to tell someone and this someone was Macaque, and when I finished Macaques eyes were watering alittle "and your just telling me this now?!" I could hear anger in his voice I didn't like making the ones I held close angry for many reasons... " I know I'm sorry!" I couldn't help but tear up, Macaque sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose "dont cry kid I'm sorry for yelling it's just that... me and wukong were kinda getting along together you know? And now he's gone but were gonna find him." Macaque said looking at me "so does this mean you'll help I already promised noodle boy I would sooo" "sure why not it's not like I got anything else going on." Macaque sighed "great so how are we gonna find him?" "Hmmm well the girl you mentioned what she look like?" "Half snake half human girl" Macaque took a pause "not her again!" He growled I tilted my head to the side in confusion Macaque obviously noticed and started explaining " Snake demon is her name she tricked me and wukong when we were younger she made us believe she was nice and wanted to be are friend but in reality she wanted wukongs power she had been planning this since the day we met but me and wukong discovered what she was planning so we beat her up... yeah best plan to stop her I know, she told us she would be back stronger and better than before and I guess she's back." Macaque shrugged I blinked blankly "so like spider queen but she just wants wukong?" "Oh old references but yes practically." "But why just wukong?" "Because he's 'the great sage equal to heaven'." Macaque air quoted rolling his eyes as well "so is she dangerous?" I asked "idk but only some demons can do that voice thing but that doesn't awnser anything" "okay well do you know were her layer is?" "No but I do know some who dose but let's got to that nerd with glasses first" "nice.. wait what about Mk?" "We can just leave him here he'll never know and wow that's the first time I've heard you call Mk by his real name!" "SHUT UP! JUST DON'T TELL ANYONE!" I yelled slightly flustered "hehe I'm just messing with you!" He said nugging my shoulder before we entered one of his shadow portals, on are way to that crappy noodle shop

MACAQUES POV: meanwhile we were traveling through my shadow portal guilt hit me hard, I wasn't being completely honest with Redson, snake demon was power it took me and wukongs full strength combined to defeat her and even now judging by what Redson told me she was stronger it takes a lot of power to keep wukong down I was gonna have to talk to someone more stronger than Mks and Redsons friends and with that said we were here, pigsys noodles, I teleported us in the middle of the shop, Mks friends had seen me more often because sunwukong was normally with them but for SOME reason everyone was startled by this, even the nerd spit out his noodles in astonishment "HEY MACAQUE AND REDBOY LONG TIME NO SEE! WHATS UP!" It was dragon horse girl, I wasn't really comfortable talking to the yet I mean I would talk to them but I just don't like talking to them at once it's overwhelming I looked at redson uncomfortably hoping that he would get my massage and he did "hi ... horse girl, but we have a problem i-" "um redson can I talk to you outside for a sec?" I interupted he looked at me and nodded as I teleported us outside the noodle shop "um so I have to leave you here so you can explain to them what's going on or something while I go get that someone who can help us so can you do that?" "But I-" " OKAY THANKS! BYE!!" I entered my shadow portal and stayed there for a second to see how he would react " I don't wanna be left alone..." he said softly to himself before slowly entering the noodle shop ''sorry kid but times running out and we need someone stronger and I know just who can help" i said to myself before speeding through the shadow's back to the house i was in a couple of minutes ago
