Ch 23: Arrival

MACAQUES POV: I shadow portaled us to where the others were and plopped us smack in the middle and almost all of them- except the nerd with oversized glasses pointed a weapon at me and Redson. "WOAH WHAT THE HELL GUYS I KNOW WHERE DEMONS BUT HEY!" I yelled. "Oops sorry Mac!" Dragon girl laughed nervously pointing her Dragon sword to the floor. "Oh sorry Macaque." Mk apologized putting his staff in his ear before plopping back down onto the couch behind him. "Were have you been? Is this another one of your evil plans to get back at Monkey King?" Pig man scowled putting the wooden spoon he was pointing at me in his pocket. "Ouch! Such accusation." I gave a fake pouty face before laughing. "Heh sorry pig man it's just..." I slowly came to a stop realizing that I was IN THE MIDDLE OF A ROOM talking to a bunch of people who were my 'FRIENDS'. 'Your getting to close to them. They will turn there backs on you when you need them the most. Don't get to attached to them- talking to them is just weakness they'll think your weak and THE SECOND THEY GET A CHANCE TO HURT OR BETRAY YOU THEY'LL TAKE IT!' I was spiraling in thoughts. 'No matter how trust worthy they seem THEY WILL BETRAY YOU. No matter how much fun you had with them they'll hurt you, no matter how many times you've laughed with them THEY WILL HURT YOU, no matter how much of a peach eating idiot that made you smile they were THEY WILL STAB YOU IN THE BACK, no matter if you were lovers THEY WILL LEAVE YOU, NO MATTER IF YOU WAITED FOR THEM FOR A THOUSAND YEARS, NO MATTER IF YOU LOVED EVERY BREATHING SECOND WITH THEM THEY WILL KILL YOU AND LEAVE YOU ALONE BECAUSE IN THE END YOUR. JUST. A. WARRIOR-' I snapped out of my thought, my hand being squeezed tightly. I blinked and looked up at the owner's hand. "You okay? You just stopped talking there." Redson. "Oh haha... I'm-" I looked around at everyone, they were all sitting on the black couch well... except for the Dragon girl she was steering at front. "I'm fine thanks Red. Now let's sit you down." I walked Redson to the only open spot on the small black couch which was next to Mk and sat him down. "Oh hey your back!" Mk exclaimed giving me his usual big smile. "Okay now tell us Mr. Shadow guy-" "call me that ever again and I'll rip your head off." I interupted, pig man paused before continuing. "Okay LIKE I was saying where have you been?" 'They will BETRAY you remember, they only want to use you to get monkey king-' "He was at Monkey Kings place with Princess Iorn Fan. They were both waiting for us there." Mk said interrupting my thoughts. I shook my head and smirked. "Mhm that's right... also... also..." "also what?" Nerd with over sized glasses asked, he was writing in some werid journal but I didn't question it. Once again I flinched at the sudden feeling of someone squeezing my hand. "Hey you got this." Redson whispered encouragingly. I looked into his firey red eyes that looked as beautiful as usual, I also glanced at Mk to see him looking at us confusedly. "Just... I need all of you to try to be nice to Princess Iron Fan, she won't make any more trouble I've talked to her about it." I lyed. "So can you guys do that?" I squeezed Redsons hand waiting for an answer, though it wasn't helping. "Ow that's a tight grip you got." Redson mumbled under his breath. I only squeezed tighter, the silence felt like a weight on my back and I felt weak. I want to sound strong and cold like usual but ever since this journey started they all want to talk to me... at once. I just can't talk to them all I need to get to know them individually before I place my trust in any of them- it's for my own good... "*sigh* Macaques right we may need Princess Iorn Fan Snake Demon is strong and I don't think we can risk it." Mk announced "I guess that's true..." Pigsy Mumbled. I sighed and FINALLY let go of my grip on Redsons poor hand. I swear I could hear his let out a sigh of relief. "Yup. And with that said I gotta go check up on her, see you there." I gave them a small smile and dissappered into the shadows

MK'S POV: "Huh I've never seen him smile at us, he normally only smiles at Redson." Tang said pointing at Redson with his pen before he continued writing 2 seconds later. "What who smiled? And where did the emo monkey go?" Mei questioned taking a right, causing everything to move right ever so slightly. But now you could now see flowers fruit mountain. "Hey Look! Flower fruit mountain!" Mei cheered and I joined her. "YASS ONE STEP CLOSER TO SAVING MONKEYS KING!" I laughed. "Wow already? It feels like just yesterday we were just getting ready for this trip." Tang chuckled, not looking up from his journal. "Oh quite you freelancer! Maybe for you because you've been in lala land because of your stupid journal!" Pigsy nagged. "HEY! I'll have you know that my journal is not stupid and HEY! That's no way of calling your-" "Your partner I know! You keep saying that!" "Well maybe I wouldn't keep saying that if you actually called me something sweet for once!" "Like what my little onion?" "THAT'S NOT SWEET!" The two soon started bickering and I soon lost interest in it, though at first it was really funny. My attention went to Mei for a few seconds 'Hmmm she seems busy and if I detract her with a conversation we may crash... SO WHO CAN I TALK TO?' I replayed that question in my head a few times before my attention went to the small whimpers next to me. 'REDSON!' I blushed I couldn't look at him, remembering what happened in the bathroom was just to embarrassing and awkward... as well as the fact that we had a huge fight about me leaving him... but I have to! What if he's hurt? Pigsy and Tang are busy bickering and Mei's steering.... 'ONE QUICK GLANCE NOTHING ELSE!' I told myself. I slowly and awkwardly turned my head towards him. 'He seems fine but... why is he whimpering? Oh buddha I'm going to have to talk to him aren't I? AJSNSBS I CAN'T IT'S TO EMBARRASSING AND AWKWARD! But he doesn't know about what I did... BUT IT STILL DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT THAT WE HAD A HUGE FIGHT! RAH THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING!' I tryed to say something but nothing came out. 'C'MON MK! JUST MAN UP! JUST ASK IF HE'S OKAY AND THAT'S IT AND YOU CAN PUT ALL OF THIS BEHIND YOU!' I took a big breath in and out and cleared my dry mouth. "H-hey Redson are you okay?" He looked at me for a few seconds before he rolled his eyes and looked the other way. 'Gosh he's so cute! NO FOCUS!... But he's so warm and hot, the way he puffed his cheeks-MK!' I shook away my thoughts and realized; I was staring at Redson again. I blushed even harder and looked down at my hands that were filling with my sweaters zipper. "You know... were going to arrive at Monkey King's house very soon, you won't be able to tell me then." I mumbled flusteredly, giving Redson quick glances. He stayed silent for a good one minute before answering. "That's a good thing I don't want to tell you and heck I don't even want to be talking to you." Redson huffed still looking away from me. "HMH FINE! Then don't tell me that's fine! ALSO I like your coat and I'm glad that you got it back!" I huffed back. I could feel my lips pout a little. "Thanks I guess I really like my coat as well..." redson says finally looking at me then to his coat. It was silent for a while before Redson spoke up. "Welp I'm leaving." Redson said out of the blue as he started to get up, his right hand was clinging onto the couch as he did so. "What? Why? Where?" "Ugh what are you a detective? Just mind your own damn business peasant." Redson grumbled fully standing up, he was shaking here and there but overall he was standing. "Well then I'll go with you." I said standing up as well. "Oh the fuck you are not." Redson hissed. "Oh yes the fuck I am. What if you hurt yourself, here let me help you walk." I was about to put my hands around him but he harshly slapped them away. "OW!" "Don't fucking touch me. And like I've said a million times I don't want your help and I sure hell don't need it OKAY!?" His hair was a mess of flames showing that he was annoyed or maybe angry... but Ethier ways I felt a knot twisting in my stomach. 'He's mad no no NO! I'M TRYING TO REDEEM MYSELF NOT MAKE HIM MORE MAD!' "Redson I-" "HOLD ON EVERYBODY!" Mei yelled with a slight giggle after it. "Wah-" I didn't even get to finish questioning Mei before the jet made a sharp turn facing down, blasting in that direction. It launched everyone and everything forward in one quick second. Pigsy and tang both fell face forward screaming in fear. "MEI YOU CRAZY!?" Pigsy yelled while Tang maintained screaming at the top of his lungs. Me and Redson the other hand... well... Redson fell on me causing me to lose me grip on the wall and I fell on the floor quickly dogging the flying flower vase that almost hit my head. "PIGSY IF WE DIE THERE'S SOMETHING I WANT TO TELL YOU!" Tang yelled "SAME HERE!" "WELL I LOVE YOU AND YOU KNOW HOW I NEVER PAY FOR THE NOODLES YOU GIVE ME!?" "HOW COULD I FORGET!?" "WELL I HAD ALL THE MONEY AND I WAD GOING TO GIVE IT TO YOU-" I stopped listening to the screaming adults and directed my attention to the demon that was clinging onto me. "When did you appear here?" I asked myself out loud, his hair was still on fire and being honest I'm terrified if he burns me. "PLEASE I'M SORRY FOR YELLING AT YOU BEFORE J-JUST DON'T LET GO OF ME!" Redson begged tighting his arms around me. "Did you just say you are sorry? Did REDSON THE DEMON BULL KINGS SON SAY HE WAS SORRY!?" "YES! I'M SO SORRY J-just please... don't let me go." Redson whimpered. I looked at him in shock 'Redson just said sorry... HE SAID SORRY TO ME AND ONLY ME I'VE NEVER HEARD HIM APOLOGIZE OR SAY SORRY BEFORE- AH!' I quickly slided both me and the whimpering demon to the right avoiding the create that smashed into peices where we once sat. I looked down at Redson to see if he was okay and saw little tears falling down his face. "WOAH WOAH WOAH! HEY IT'S OKAY YOUR SAFE I GOT YOU!" I screamed, it was so loud with the two screaming adults and with all of the stuff that was being smashed and broken, and on top of all of that was Mei laughing like a maniac while driving straight down. 'Hm this kind of reminds me of when... when *le gasp!* WHEN WE FELL AND REDSON ACCIDENTALLY SHOWED ME HIS SCARS!' "HEY REDSON LOOK AT ME!" The fire demon did what I said and looked at me. "THAT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN! MEI'S A CRAZY PILOT I KNOW, WERE JUST LANDING AT MONKEY KINGS HOUSE JUST LOOK AT ME AND IT'LL BE OVER SOON!" Redson did what I suggested and looked at me with his watery eyes and I looked at him blushing madly at his features. That was until I felt his skin start to heat up, his skin was starting to burn me ever so slowly. 'Oh please let us land soon!' I begged. And just like that the jet stopped and everything went silent. "OOF! Sorry guys I gotta learn how to manage the controls better. But at least I remembered to land at the bottom of the mountain!" Mei giggled. Everyone groaned in response- except for Redson. I directed my eyes to Redson and tryed to pushed him off since I could feel his skin burning me slightly but he didn't budge. "Redson your burning me... you can let go now it's over." I nugged him and he growled. 'AWW! He's like a lost puppy- a cute viscous lost puppy <3!' I thought blushing even more. At this point I didn't care if he was burning me I love this view. "Yeah I'm going just give me a second to regain myself..." Redson mumbled rubbing his head on my chest. 'Oh buddha I'm going to pass out <3'
